The Quality Management Office acts as the "guardian" of our operations, overseeing critical functions such as contracts, legal compliance, credit management, and process improvement. Rakuten Travel is rapidly expanding its business with a core focus on capturing inbound demand, aiming to become the "No. 1 Online Travel Agency (OTA) in Asia." Amidst this growth phase, it is an urgent priority to strengthen our organizational structure to support our management foundation and accelerate business expansion from the back office.
We are currently strengthening our team to further optimize and streamline our legal debt management operations. We are looking for a core member to take ownership in building and improving these critical business processes.
In this position, you will primarily be responsible for handling legal management cases (such as bankruptcy, civil rehabilitation, and attachment/seizure) and managing receivables. We are seeking a highly motivated individual who can lead the transformation of business processes through the use of IT and technology, and who is eager to drive our business growth from the back office.

Position Details
In this position, you will be responsible for both the execution of legal debt management and the optimization and enhancement of related business operations in the following areas:

Legal Debt Management
・Handling legal matters, including bankruptcy, civil rehabilitation, and attachment/seizure proceedings.
・Managing and recovering receivables for both domestic and international properties.

Operational Optimization & Process Improvement
・Planning and driving projects for workflow automation and business process streamlining.
・Strengthening management systems through the strategic implementation of IT solutions."

Work Environment

・Total Travel Business Division (approx. 800 employees)
・Quality Management Office (25 employees).
・Age Range: 20s-50s (A flat, energetic, and highly communicative organization).
・Diversity: 20% New Graduates / 80% Mid-career hires.

Backgrounds: 
・Experience in transportation (operations/passenger service management)
・Travel agency sales
・Consulting (process improvement/project management).

・Appointed as Assistant Manager immediately upon joining to lead a team
・Promoted to Manager within 3 years of joining

Mandatory Qualifications:
・5+ years of professional experience.
・Legal Debt Management: Practical experience in handling legal debt management and recovery, including dealing with counterparty bankruptcies, civil rehabilitation, and attachment/seizure proceedings.
・Leadership: Proven experience in leading teams as a manager or driving projects as a project lead.
・Quality & Risk Management: Practical experience in quality control and risk management within business operations.
・Experience in business improvement and efficiency optimization using AI
・Basic PC skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
・Strong communication skills and negotiation ability to coordinate smoothly with other departments and external organizations

Desired Qualifications:
・Contract Management: Practical experience in contract-related tasks, including drafting, reviewing, and managing legal agreements.
・Industry Experience: Experience in online business operations within the Travel (OTA) or E-commerce industries.
・Language Skills: Ability to conduct business-level tasks and communications in English.
