Nanny – Golden, CO

A family in Golden, CO is seeking a warm, engaging, and dependable part-time nanny to care for their toddler. They are looking for someone who enjoys supporting early childhood development, loves spending time outdoors, and is interested in building a long-term relationship with their family. Experience with the Montessori approach is a strong plus.

Schedule:

• Wednesdays and Fridays (Required) 8:00 AM–4:00 PM (flexible to 9:00 AM–5:00 PM)
• Additional days may be considered later on, but Wednesday and Friday availability is required to start.
• Occasional date nights as needed.
• Start Date: August 3, 2026

Family Specifications:

• Located near Colorado Mills Mall
• Two friendly medium-sized dogs (40–50 lbs.)
• Security cameras are present in common areas and outside the home
• Open to a nanny share arrangement for the right candidate

Responsibilities:

• Provide attentive, nurturing care for a toddler
• Plan age-appropriate educational activities, sensory play, and arts and crafts
• Follow routines for feeding, diapering, dressing, naps, and personal care
• Plan and prepare meals for the child
• Light housekeeping and children's laundry
• Transport and accompany the child to activities as needed (gas reimbursement provided when using a personal vehicle)
• Accompany the family on occasional trips if needed
• Assist with letting the family dogs in and out as needed

Requirements:

• Prior professional childcare experience required
• Openness and willingness to perform household chores in addition to childcare
• Montessori experience preferred
• Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle
• Comfortable transporting the child when needed (gas reimbursement provided)
• Comfortable around dogs
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred
• Strong references required 

Compensation:

• $25–$27 per hour, depending on experience. The family is open to discussing compensation for an exceptional candidate.
