Job Summary:**
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Mechanical Foreman to lead and supervise mechanical teams on various plumbing and mechanical projects. This role involves ensuring the efficient and high-quality execution of mechanical installations, maintenance, and repairs, while adhering to safety standards and project timelines.
Job Responsibilities:**
* Supervise, train, and mentor a team of mechanical technicians, plumbers, and pipefitters.
* Plan, schedule, and coordinate daily mechanical work activities, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
* Interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure accurate and compliant installations.
* Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of various mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, piping, and related equipment.
* Conduct regular inspections of work in progress and completed work to ensure quality control and adherence to specifications, codes, and safety regulations.
* Troubleshoot complex mechanical issues and provide technical guidance to the team.
* Order and manage materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and proper inventory control.
* Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and team progress.
* Collaborate with project managers, other foremen, and clients to ensure seamless project execution.
* Implement and enforce company safety policies and procedures on job sites.
* Identify and resolve potential issues and conflicts that may arise during project execution.
Job Qualifications:**
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical trades, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or foreman role.
* Proven expertise in HVAC, piping, and other mechanical systems.
* Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
* Thorough understanding of relevant building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
* OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred.
* Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
* Ability to perform physical tasks associated with mechanical work, including lifting, climbing, and working in various weather conditions.
* Proficiency in basic computer applications for record-keeping and communication.
* Problem-solving skills and a strong commitment to quality workmanship.
