Join our Financial Services Management Consulting team

Our Financial Services Management Consulting team is growing, and we are looking for a Manager to help us shape and deliver strategic and business transformations for leading banks, insurers and other financial institutions.

This is a broad Management Consulting role rather than a narrow specialist position. Depending on our clients' needs and your strengths, you may work on topics ranging from growth and customer strategy, operating models and process transformation to digital and AI-enabled business change, payments, lending, investments and large-scale transformation programmes.

What you'll do

As a Manager, you will combine client delivery, team leadership and business development. You will:

• Lead strategy and transformation engagements, from structuring complex client challenges and defining the approach to developing practical recommendations and supporting implementation.
• Advise banks, insurers and other financial institutions on strategic and business transformation, helping them respond to changing customer expectations, market developments and new technologies.
• Translate strategy into tangible change, across areas such as operating models, customer propositions and journeys, business processes, digital and AI-enabled transformation, and large-scale transformation programmes.
• Work directly with senior Financial Services stakeholders, bringing structure to complex discussions, challenging constructively and helping clients make informed decisions and move forward.
• Lead and develop consulting teams, setting direction, allocating work effectively, coaching colleagues and taking responsibility for the quality and timely delivery of the team's work.
• Build trusted client relationships, understand clients' strategic and operational priorities and identify opportunities where PwC can create additional value.
• Contribute to proposals, pitches and new offerings, helping us strengthen and grow our Financial Services Management Consulting practice.
• Bring the best of PwC to our clients, working with colleagues across strategy, operations, technology, data, risk and regulatory capabilities and drawing on our Belgian and international network.

What we will expect from you

We are looking for someone who combines strong analytical thinking with a practical approach, enjoys taking responsibility and works well with others. You will probably recognise yourself in many of the following:

• You have around five years or more of relevant experience in management consulting, strategy, transformation or a comparable project-based environment. Experience in banking, insurance or another Financial Services environment is a strong advantage.
• You get up to speed quickly. You ask relevant questions, identify what really matters and turn complex information into a clear point of view, practical recommendations and concrete next steps.
• You take ownership naturally. You move things forward, manage competing priorities and remain structured and effective when the pace is high or circumstances change.
• You can connect strategic objectives with practical implications for the organisation, its customers, processes, technology and people.
• You communicate clearly and confidently, can facilitate discussions and workshops, challenge different perspectives constructively and engage effectively with senior stakeholders.
• You lead teams with clarity and trust, delegate effectively, provide actionable feedback and create an inclusive environment where people can contribute, develop and perform at their best.
• You set high standards for quality and integrity and use sound judgement in managing delivery, risks and client expectations.
• You are commercially minded and curious: you seek to understand what matters to clients, recognise opportunities and contribute to proposals and the development of our practice.

You are fluent in English and have professional proficiency in Dutch or French. Knowledge of both is an advantage.

You do not need to fit one specific Financial Services specialisation or meet every possible requirement.

We welcome strong generalists as well as candidates who bring deeper expertise in a particular area.
