The Creator Marketing team oversees the strategy and execution of paid and organic creator campaigns to amplify digital marketing efforts across The Walt Disney Studios (and wider TWDC). Our Creative Strategy, Creator Relations and Campaign Execution teams lead full-service, 360-marketing solutions partnering with relevant, brand safe influencers for various activations – custom content, premieres, experiential events, mailers, etc. Using industry best practices and innovative strategies, this team is tasked with developing and delivering engaging and impactful creator content at scale.
Job Overview:
The Manager, Creator Content & Partnerships is responsible for developing and executing the creative vision behind creator marketing initiatives across The Walt Disney Company. This role drives the strategic direction for creator campaigns from research and audience insights through creative development and execution, ensuring programs are innovative, culturally relevant, and aligned with business objectives across Disney's portfolio of brands.
As a key contributor within the Disney Entertainment Creator Marketing team, the Manager leads creative strategy, campaign ideation, creator communications, and production support across assigned initiatives. Working collaboratively with internal stakeholders and external partners, this role champions creative excellence while ensuring campaigns are executed consistently across earned, owned, and paid channels.
Supporting the rapidly evolving entertainment and creator landscape, this role leverages qualitative and quantitative research, audience insights, and cultural trends to shape creator marketing strategies that maximize audience engagement, earned media value, and return on investment. The Manager continuously evaluates emerging platforms, creator behaviors, and digital consumption trends to identify new opportunities for storytelling and audience connection. This role also supports the creator vertical content pipeline on Disney+, embedding creator content initiatives into the broader creator partnerships strategy to drive alignment, scalability, and impact.
As a creative strategist and subject matter expert, the Manager maintains a deep understanding of entertainment, social media, digital marketing, and creator culture, translating industry insights into actionable strategies that keep Disney at the forefront of creator marketing. They develop strategic frameworks, creative approaches, and best practices that elevate campaign performance while ensuring creator content authentically reflects Disney's brands and storytelling standards.
A skilled communicator and compelling storyteller, the Manager presents strategic recommendations, creative concepts, campaign narratives, and performance insights to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders. Working closely with Campaign Strategy, Marketing, Events, Publicity, Production, and other internal teams, they ensure creative strategies are effectively translated into impactful creator partnerships and campaign activations.
In collaboration with cross-functional partners, this role continuously refines creative processes, facilitates creator discovery and ideation sessions, and evolves campaign methodologies to improve efficiency, strengthen creator collaboration, and drive greater awareness, engagement, and cultural impact across creator marketing initiatives. Through influence, expertise, and collaboration, the Manager helps shape the evolution of Disney's creator marketing strategy with direct people management experience.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary relationship owner for talent and talent teams, building and stewarding strategic partnerships over time, aligning talent with key creative strategy, and shaping the campaign strategy built around them.
- Handle all partnerships communications and management — negotiating with talent and closing deals to drive campaign performance — and select talent for all campaigns to ensure alignment with our strategy and Disney standards; manage talent directly, ensuring the creator experience at all events and activations is executed smoothly and in line with strategy.
- Proactively scout and identify rising talent ahead of the market using qualitative and quantitative research, maintaining a deep pulse on the entertainment industry and creator economy to surface emerging trends and innovation that inform future areas for strategy growth.
- Own the team's entire creator repository and oversee our creator management tools, ensuring data accuracy and effective use across the team to support partnership and campaign decisions
Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in an influencer marketing role and/or similar function leading high-priority Brand projects with multiple key stakeholders
- Deep understanding of the content creator, digital marketing and creative space
- Strong creative production background, ability to write clear, concise, and engaging copy for a wide range of marketing materials
- Work autonomously with creative tools in developing pitch decks and storyboards
- Background in media and entertainment brands as well as shepherding large scale, cross-channel influencer and/or digital marketing campaigns and working with creator talent.
- Experience working with highly matrixed marketing organizations.
- Demonstrated analytical, presentation and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive self-starter, communicator, strategist and detailed creative
- Fluent in digital media, talent/artist relations, public relations, and marketing.
- Experience with and knowledge of short and long-form video platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Snapchat.
- Demonstrated ability to juggle scope and resources to meet deadlines consistently.
- Must be willing to travel and attend after-hour events, relationship-building meetings, and industry conferences
- Minimum 4-year degree
