What You’ll Be Part Of
Design, develop, fabricate, and install new audio, speakers, and wiring systems into vehicles. The role will leverage Harman's brand technology leadership in order to apply brand technologies into vehicles to create the best automotive audio systems.
How You’ll Make An Impact
- Design, fabricate and install custom class A parts/wiring into cars
- Basic acoustic integration of product materials
- Main Audio Tuning Support (Vehicle Test, Measurement)
- Warning Sound / Electrical Sound Tuning (Objective/Subjective)
- Measurement Tool / Car Lab Management
- EQ check in the Car before SW release (Objective/ Subjective)
What Makes You A Strong Fit
· Associate’s degree or equivalent
· 1-2 years of experience in at least two of the following fields: psycho-acoustics and recording arts, car audio, automotive fabrication, sound system design, room acoustics, music technology, electrical technician
Bonus Points if You Have
· Bachelors’ degree preferred
· Passion for acoustics and quality
· Flexible in a challenging work environment
· Attention to detail
· Strong problem-solving skills
Things To Know
- This role is based in Seoul, Korea and follows a hybrid schedule, with regular in-office collaboration alongside engineering, product, and customer program teams.
- This position supports global product launch timelines, so occasional early morning or evening meetings may be needed to collaborate with teams in Europe and US.
- This role requires occasional domestic and international travel to customer sites, manufacturing locations, or product launch meetings.
- Professional working proficiency in English is required to support day-to-day communication with OEM customers and regional engineering teams.
- Because this role supports customer programs with specific security requirements, the selected candidate must be able to obtain and maintain the required clearance or access approval.
