The role:

At Crown Resorts, we’re passionate about creating exceptional experiences for our guests, team members and communities. As an Investigations Governance & Systems Specialist, you'll play a key role in supporting the integrity, security and compliance of our operations.

In these newly created roles, you'll be responsible for the timely processing of Security Bans (Withdrawal of Licence) and Casino Exclusion Orders, while maintaining accurate records, systems and reporting. You'll provide essential administrative and reporting support to the Investigations team, ensuring information is managed efficiently and in line with legislative, regulatory and organisational requirements.

You'll also support investigative activities through information gathering, open-source research and analysis, applying relevant legislation, legal rulings and regulatory findings to help inform outcomes. You'll also provide specialist operational support across the Investigations function, through system administration, information governance and the management of investigative records and intelligence holdings.

This is a varied role where no two hours are the same. Your attention to detail, strong organisational skills and ability to work with sensitive information will be key to your success.

These opportunities can be based in Melbourne or Perth.

You’ll be:

• Maintaining and updating accurate patron records across SYCO, LUI, and iTrak platforms
• Ensuring all ban actions are well-documented and stored in accordance with Crown’s record-keeping policies 
• Reviewing incident reports (ITrak), surveillance logs, and patron history to determine appropriate ban actions
• Actioning recommendations provided by other business units relating to bans
• Applying ban durations in line with the Crown Resorts Security banning policy
• Entering WOL/NRL requests into the approved program with hyperlinks to supporting evidence folders for senior management decision making
• Compiling legal documentation for the issuance of bans to customers
• Conducting analysis to identify key issues and trends for the business.
• Collecting evidentiary material including relevant Crown related documents, open-source documents and legislative outcomes via open-source databases to support ban recommendations
• Receiving, collating and disseminating ban and exclusion related information internally and to regulators, in line with Internal Control Measures (ICM)

You’ll bring:

• Strong understanding of legislative regulations particularly around bans and exclusions across VIC, NSW & WA

• Proficiency in using systems such as SYCO, LUI, iTrak, PowerBI and shared drives is preferred

• Experience in ONSINT or other open -source related evidence gathering is favourable

• Ability to analyse, compile and provide commentary on trends and data

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive information discreetly

• Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration

• Exposure to gaming, security, investigations, regulatory or law enforcement administration is advantageous

• Current or ability to obtain all required Casino Employee Licenses
