Job Description:

As an Intern, you will:

Day-to-Day Operations

• Support the Customer Success team in daily operational tasks and ongoing projects
• Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, documentation, and data analysis
• Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and cross-functional discussions
• Respond to internal and/or external queries as directed by your mentor or supervisor

Project Contribution

• Contribute to department-specific projects aligned with your course of study and learning goals
• Conduct research, gather data, and summarize findings to support business decisions
• Apply academic knowledge to real business scenarios under the guidance of your assigned mentor

Learning & Development

• Complete assigned training modules and participate in orientation activities
• Engage in bi-weekly check-ins and feedback sessions with your mentor
• Attend career development workshops and company-hosted events
• Shadow team members to gain exposure to different functions within the department

Compliance & Conduct

• Adhere to all Remitly policies, code of conduct, and confidentiality requirements
• Maintain the security and integrity of all company information and systems
• Communicate proactively with mentors and the program coordinator on progress and concerns

As an Intern, you have:

Minimum Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program
• Must be in the graduating year or currently completing OJT/practicum units as part of the academic curriculum
• Availability to commit to the full duration of the program (200–400 hours) within the agreed schedule
• Able to work on-site at the Remitly Manila office (or hybrid, as applicable)
• Submission of a Medical Certificate from a DOH-accredited clinic confirming good health

Skills & Competencies

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or Google Workspace
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and a willingness to learn
• Able to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Team player who can collaborate with diverse individuals across departments
• Proactive, self-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Nice to Have

• Prior internship or volunteer experience in a professional setting
• Familiarity with data tools, project management platforms, or relevant technical software
• Interest in fintech, financial services, or global remittances
• Demonstrated involvement in academic organizations, competitions, or community projects
