Senior Systems Administrator

Location: Mexico City
Work Model: Hybrid — In-office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday

About the Role

Our growing technology company is seeking an experienced, self-motivated, and customer service-oriented Senior Systems Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will provide efficient and accurate internal technical support, advise project teams on technology needs, and contribute to the maintenance, security, and growth of our IT systems.

As a key point of contact for IT-related issues, you will help ensure reliable technology operations across our hybrid environment. This role also requires responding to emergency events outside regular business hours, including scheduled after-hours maintenance windows.

What You’ll Do

You will administer Microsoft Entra ID to manage access control, application registrations, and identity lifecycle processes across enterprise applications and SaaS integrations. You will also manage Microsoft Intune policies, compliance baselines, and application deployments to support secure and efficient device management for hybrid and remote users.

You will oversee Microsoft 365 services, including SharePoint Online and Microsoft Teams, by managing permissions, content lifecycles, and collaboration governance. You will help maintain platform reliability, security, and compliance across the organization.

You will develop and maintain Power Automate workflows and PowerShell scripts to streamline IT processes, automate provisioning, and improve service delivery across cloud systems. You will also support enterprise applications and integrations, ensuring secure and stable authentication, API, and SAML/SSO configurations.

Your responsibilities will include maintaining accurate hardware, software, and license inventories, as well as overseeing lifecycle management, patching, and configuration compliance across all environments. You will also manage certificate processes, SCEP enrollment, and lifecycle maintenance for secure communication and device trust.

In addition, you will administer branch office network infrastructure, including Ubiquiti UniFi switches, gateways, and wireless access points. This includes supporting reliable connectivity and VPN integration across office locations.

You will also maintain physical security systems, including access control platforms, security cameras, and badge management systems, ensuring reliable operation and compliance with company policies.

What You’ll Need

• 8+ years of experience in systems administration or enterprise IT operations, with a strong focus on Microsoft 365 and cloud-based environments.

• Hands-on experience managing Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Intune, and enterprise application integrations using SAML/SSO.

• Knowledge of certificate management, SCEP enrollment, and certificate lifecycle maintenance.

• Experience administering cloud-based DNS, such as Route 53, and managing organizational domains with registrars.

• Familiarity with cloud-based monitoring tools, VPN solutions, and endpoint compliance enforcement.

• Proficiency with Power Automate and PowerShell scripting for automating administrative workflows and recurring system tasks.

• Working knowledge of SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, and other Microsoft 365 services, including access controls and governance.

• Experience tracking and auditing software licenses across enterprise applications and SaaS platforms.

• Experience supporting physical security systems, including access control, surveillance cameras, and badge infrastructure.

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with excellent attention to detail.

• Ability to respond effectively to operational issues, including emergency situations outside regular business hours.

• Microsoft or equivalent cloud certifications are preferred, such as M365 Administrator, Azure Fundamentals, or Security certifications.
