Serves as a Infoblox DDI Engineer responsible for the design, implementation, migration, and operational support of enterprise DNS, DHCP, and IP Address Management (IPAM) services. Leads complex infrastructure modernization initiatives involving Infoblox Grid architecture, DNS and DHCP migrations, automation, and cloud integrations. Partners with network, cloud, security, and application teams to deliver scalable, resilient, and secure DDI services across on-premises and cloud environments. Experience supporting Microsoft Active Directory integrated DNS and DHCP services is highly desirable.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Designs, builds, and implements enterprise infrastructure technology platforms and systems across cloud, network, database, storage, platform, computing, or middleware domains.
  • Applies automation, monitoring, and optimization techniques to ensure high availability and performance of infrastructure.
  • Manages infrastructure engineering projects and processes aligned with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to integrate new technologies and continuously improve infrastructure standards and processes.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves complex technical issues impacting infrastructure performance and reliability.
  • Supports compliance with technology strategies, standards, and governance to mitigate risks and ensure regulatory adherence.
  • Reviews and guides infrastructure designs, configurations, and procedures to support operational consistency and knowledge sharing.
  • Provides technical guidance and direction to lower-level technical professionals.
  • Develops technical solutions with deep analysis of infrastructure systems and leads infrastructure processes.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in infrastructure engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise infrastructure technologies including cloud, network, database, storage, platform, computing, and middleware.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Infoblox DDI Engineering experience.
  • Infoblox Grid Architecture experience.
  • INE Infoblox NIOS DDI Certification.
  • Experience with DNS, DHCP, and IPAM Migrations, Microsoft Active Directory DNS/DHCP Administration, Infoblox Integration with Active Directory.
  • AWS Route 53 and Cloud DNS experience, Anycast DNS experience.
  • F5 GTM/GSLB experience, Python/Ansible/REST API Automation; Large Enterprise Infrastructure experience.
  • Proficiency in GitLab CI/CD pipeline authoring, including multi-stage pipelines, runners, environments, and security scanning integration.
  • Working knowledge of Ansible and Ansible Automation Platform, including playbook authoring, inventory management, and AAP workflow templates.
  • Experience with OPA (Open Policy Agent) and policy-as-code patterns in pipeline enforcement contexts.
  • Infrastructure-as-code competency in Terraform or equivalent, with demonstrated deployment experience in Azure and/or AWS environments.
  • Python and/or scripting proficiency sufficient to build integration glue, automate workflows, and produce production-grade tooling in short iteration cycles.
  • Experience working in a regulated financial services, healthcare, or government environment where compliance constraints directly shape technical architecture decisions.
  • Operates with high ownership and can make meaningful progress without fully defined requirements.
  • Communicates technical complexity in plain language and can effectively engage both executive and technical audiences.
  • Comfortable operating in environments that include legacy technologies, ongoing modernization efforts, and emerging capabilitie.
  • Familiarity with AI prompt engineering and AI-assisted automation tools for infrastructure operations and engineering workflows.
