JOB DESCRIPTION           

POSITION SUMMARY: Industrial Maintenance Technician - *TEMPORARY POSITION* - Denison, IA

This facility runs 6 days a week, Monday - Saturday. All Maintenance Team Members work Sundays as part of their regular schedule.

Schedule: Monday - Saturday. 6 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.

Pay depends on skill level -  Starting Pay: $29.10/HR

This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment in the general rendering area of the plant while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

This position is located in the hot-side processing area of this processing facility, and is responsible for the operation of heavy machinery of the processing of inedible products.

• These positions work in a hot and humid environment – average temperature is around 80 degrees but can reach 115 during the summer months.
• Standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, and reaching are required in all areas.
• Lifting is required in many areas (weight depends upon area).
• This position could work in any department of this processing facility.
• These positions work in a cold, damp or hot and humid environment and these areas have slippery walking surfaces.
