About You
You are a commercially minded HR professional with significant experience partnering with leaders through organisational change and transformation initiatives. You bring a strategic mindset, strong stakeholder management skills, and the ability to translate business objectives into practical people solutions.
You thrive in complex environments, enjoy challenging legacy thinking, and are passionate about designing organisational structures that enable performance, scalability and long-term success.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline
- Minimum five years' experience in an HR Advisor or HR Business Partner role
- Demonstrated HR generalist experience
- Strong organisational design skills, with experience in McKinsey Modelling
- Demonstrated experience in delivering on key projects, related to HR initiatives
- Proven employee and industrial relations experience and people change management practices
- Strong communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills
- The ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes in a dynamic environment
- A collaborative approach and ability to work effectively across a matrixed organisation
About The Role
This 6-month fixed term contract role will play a critical role in supporting organisational transformation across the business. Working closely with operational leaders and the broader HR team, you will lead organisational design initiatives, support change programs, and help create future-state operating models that drive commercial and people outcomes.
You will act as a trusted advisor to leaders, providing expert guidance on organisational structures, workforce planning, change management and talent implications while ensuring business objectives remain aligned with employee experience and engagement.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Help architect and execute structural changes alongside GM, HR and operational leaders, transforming business strategy into sustainable future state target operating models.
- Use workforce analytics, spans and layers analysis, and workflow mapping to identify structural bottlenecks, proposing and driving end-to-end restructure and change management processes.
- Serve as a trusted organisational development advisor to operational leaders, challenging legacy structure and guiding them to build scalable and capability led team designs.
- Help co-design future-state organisational structures with GM, HR and operational leaders, building clear, phased transition plans that balance commercial goals with human impact.
- Design and deliver transparent change communication packs that articulate the ‘why’ behind structural shifts, maintaining workforce alignment and engagement through periods of ambiguity.
- Project manage structural transitions from initial business case through to consultation and final implementation.
- Partner with Centres of Excellence (COEs) to ensure new organisational designs are supported by aligned compensation structures, performance frameworks and talent pipelines.
- Translate future-state organisational charts into clear role profiles and position descriptions, ensuring the business hires for the capabilities required tomorrow.
- Assist in the design of a dynamic workforce plan that optimises labour spend and aligns with the budgeted target operating model.
- Deliver data-driven insights on organisational design metrics, including spans and layers, headcount variances against the workforce plan, vacancy rates of critical roles and turnover trends.
