About You

You are a customer-focused and sales-driven professional who enjoys building rapport, understanding customer needs and delivering high-quality service. You are organised, detail-oriented and confident working across multiple systems while managing competing priorities.

You will have:

• 2-3 years’ experience in reservations, sales, travel, hotel front office or customer service.
• Demonstrated sales experience, including converting enquiries and achieving sales or revenue outcomes.
• Strong communication, questioning, active listening and customer service skills.
• Confidence in upselling and cross-selling relevant products, packages or services.
• Accurate data entry skills and the ability to follow structure processes and procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Knowledge of Opera Cloud or other hotel, reservations or travel systems is preferred.
• A Diploma in Hospitality, Travel, Tourism, Business or a related field will be highly regarded.

About The Role

As a Travel Sales Consultant, you will deliver exceptional service across calls, emails and chat interactions, converting enquiries into confirmed reservations through confident sales, strong product knowledge and accurate booking management. You will identify customer needs, recommend suitable accommodation, tours, destination experiences and travel packages, and maintain accurate reservation information across multiple systems. As a Travel Sales Consultant, you’ll pay a vital role in shaping the beginning of our guests’ unforgettable journeys.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Provide outstanding customer service across all prospective and current customer interactions.
• Convert enquiries into confirmed bookings through effective questioning, active listening, product matching and confident sales conversations.
• Promote relevant products and experiences through proactive upselling and cross-selling.
• Accurately create, update and manage reservations, payments and customer information across multiple systems.
• Maintain strong product, destination and Journey Beyond experience knowledge to provide accurate recommendations.
• Liaise with internal teams, suppliers and travel partners to confirm, amend and coordinate guest arrangements.
• Support achievement of revenue, service and KPI targets through accurate administration and guest service outcomes.
