What's Exciting About the Role

This role combines regional HR operations support for LATAM with a global coordination function that spans cross-regional HR processes. It is a dual-focus position that keeps one foot in the day-to-day employee lifecycle and the other in building and improving how Verifone's HR team operates across borders.

This is a role for someone with a transformational mindset - someone who is energized by rebuilding a process, not just running it. We are looking for a candidate who brings genuine curiosity about how AI and modern HR technology can improve the way we work, and who is excited to be part of a broader effort to evolve how our HR teams operate globally.

Responsibilities

LATAM HR Operations

• Serve as the first point of contact for LATAM employee and manager HR inquiries via ServiceNow
• Manage employee lifecycle transactions in Workday, including onboarding, transfers, leaves, terminations, and contract changes
• Support onboarding and offboarding for LATAM hires and departures — including offers, employment letters, and documentation — in partnership with Talent Acquisition
• Maintain employee records, support payroll & benefit coordination in line with country-specific requirements
• Coordinate pre-employment requirements, including background checks where applicable
• Support the in-country HR Manager and Business Partner in Uruguay with day-to-day operational tasks

Global Process Coordination

• Own onboarding status tracking across all regions from offer acceptance through start date, partnering with regional HR teams to flag delays and close gaps
• Provide leadership with a consolidated status view across coordinated processes, ensuring visibility and accountability
• Take on additional global process coordination projects as they arise, with scope expanding over time

Qualifications

• Experience in HR operations or shared services, with a background in analyst or customer support-style HR work
• Working knowledge of HR systems such as ServiceNow, Workday, Greenhouse, or DocuSign
• Spanish fluency required; Portuguese a plus; strong English communication skills across written and verbal contexts
• A transformational mindset — someone energized by improving and rebuilding processes, not just maintaining them
• Genuine interest in AI and its application in HR operations; we want someone who actively wants to bring these tools into the work
• Comfortable working across time zones and collaborating with regional teams around the world
