About the Role

We're seeking a Healthcare Compliance Manager to build and own our compliance program from the ground up. This is a hybrid role split between broader corporate compliance work, including business licensing, contracts monitoring, ADA/nondiscrimination accommodations, and light paralegal support, and Medicare compliance, e.g. monitoring the billing process, fielding compliance questions, and standing up an audit process. You'll also make sure our compliance program is up and running day to day—written policies and procedures, a risk assessment cadence, and employee compliance training.

You Will

• Build and own our compliance approach for Medicare, monitoring the billing process, fielding compliance questions as they arise, and standing up a formal audit process
• Screen employees, contractors, and downstream vendors against OIG/SAM and other federal exclusion lists on an ongoing basis, and help administer required Medicare compliance training (e.g., annual fraud, waste, and abuse training)
• Independently design and run audit plans, serving as a hands-on resource for our billing and clinical teams
• Track audit and monitoring findings through corrective action plans (CAPs) to resolution, and report on remediation status to stakeholders
• Conduct or support periodic enterprise compliance risk assessments and translate the results into a risk-based monitoring and audit work plan
• Field and resolve accommodation requests tied to Medicare nondiscrimination requirements, including limited English proficiency, hearing, and vision accommodations, for beneficiaries
• Monitor our contracts database and take on discrete compliance and paralegal-adjacent projects end-to-end, from scoping through execution
• Develop, maintain, and periodically update the company's written compliance policies and procedures
• Support oversight of delegated vendors and any first-tier, downstream, and related entities (FDRs) involved in delivering Medicare-covered services, consistent with CMS delegation-oversight expectations
• Support general corporate compliance and government filings as needed, partnering closely with our enterprise sales/BD team
• Help maintain a confidential compliance reporting channel (e.g., hotline) and reinforce our non-retaliation policy for good-faith reports
• Serve as a day-to-day point of contact for CMS and other regulator inquiries or audits, coordinating responses with Legal and Clinical leadership

About You

You Have

• 4–6 years of general healthcare or corporate compliance experience
• Project management skills, and comfort taking a project from scoping through execution independently
• Experience designing and running audit processes, including building audit plans and following through on execution
• Familiarity with core healthcare fraud and abuse laws (e.g., the Anti-Kickback Statute and False Claims Act) and the elements of an effective compliance program
• Comfort with paralegal-adjacent work such as contract monitoring, license tracking, and government filings (no paralegal license required)
• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Legal Studies, or a related field (CHC credential or paralegal certificate a plus)
• Medicare/CMS exposure is a plus, but not required
• Nice to have: HIPAA experience, ADA/nondiscrimination, or accommodations experience; OIG/exclusion-list screening or program-integrity experience; experience supporting oversight of delegated vendors/FDRs

The base salary range for this position is $107,000 to $126,000. Actual compensation is determined by job-related factors, including experience, skills, qualifications, and location.

This role is eligible for our Princeton, NJ office location, operating on a hybrid schedule (2 days per week on-site).
