About the role 

As Groom at Domes Miramare, a Luxury Collection Resort, you will deliver exceptional guest service by helping with luggage, sharing information about hotel facilities and services, and making every stay warm and welcoming. You will create a positive first and last impression for our guests. 

What you will do 

Arrivals and departures 

• Welcome guests on arrival and departure in a friendly and courteous way. 

• Help with luggage, including loading and unloading vehicles, and escort guests to their rooms. 

• Work closely with the front desk and concierge team for smooth check in and check out. 

Luggage and deliveries 

• Transport luggage and personal belongings safely to and from guest rooms. 

• Deliver packages, amenities and other items to guest rooms on request. 

• Store luggage securely for early arrivals and late departures. 

Guest information 

• Share accurate information about hotel services, facilities and local attractions. 

• Answer guest questions and recommend dining, entertainment and transport options. 

• Work with the concierge team to deliver personalised service. 

Guest transport 

• Arrange transport for guests on request, including taxis, airport shuttles and private transfers. 

• Keep guests safe by following driving rules inside and outside the hotel grounds. 

Safety and security 

• Follow all safety and security procedures when assisting guests. 

• Report any suspicious activity or security concerns to management. 

Requirements

What you will bring 

• Fluent English. 

• A valid category B driving licence. 

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with guests and colleagues. 

• The ability to work in a fast paced environment and stay professional under pressure. 

• A problem solving approach, an eye for detail and the ability to think quickly when challenges arise. 

• Previous experience in a similar role, such as bell, valet or concierge, or in guest service, is desirable. 

• A high school diploma or equivalent is desirable. 

• Additional foreign languages are desirable.
