FP&A Advisory – Senior Manager
As a member of our Business Transformation team, you work as an extension of our client’s team. Your work will focus on supporting the FP&A function of our client’s finance organization, including modeling, budgeting and forecasting, interim management, as well as high impact initiatives including restructuring, sell-side diligence, carve-outs, M&A integration, and other non-routine transactions.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- The FP&A Senior Manager is a key member of the Financial Planning and Analysis team and will help influence clients’ financial and business decisions.
- Lead and/or support project teams engaged in the successful delivery of a wide range of Business Transformation initiatives aligning finance with business strategy in support of the broader organization's future vision.
- Help develop finance strategies by assessing a client’s business challenges/needs/gaps, diagnosing the root problems, and recommending an approach leveraging CFGI assets.
- Develop and apply an understanding of sales and spending trends, to manage financial risk and identify opportunities.
- Provide best-in-class business partnering support, and deliver quality reports and analysis used to make informed business decisions.
- Identify and support CFGI business development initiatives; participate in certain aspects of the proposal development process.
- Maintain an understanding of advancements in technology and innovations which are happening across digital, analytics, the CFO ecosystem, and broader marketplace.
What you must have:
- 8–12 years of experience in FP&A, finance transformation, corporate finance, consulting, and/or corporate finance.
- Experience leading FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, or finance transformation engagements within a consulting, professional services, or corporate FP&A environment.

- Experience leading enterprise FP&A initiatives including budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, financial modeling, scenario analysis, finance transformation, or performance management.
- Experience leading complex engagements, managing project teams, facilitating client workshops, and overseeing project execution, staffing, budgets, and client deliverables.
- Experience developing trusted relationships with executive stakeholders by presenting financial insights, business cases, and strategic recommendations to CFOs, finance executives, and other senior leaders.
- Experience applying FP&A technologies including planning, analytics, reporting, EPM, or ERP platforms to modernize finance processes and improve decision-making.
- Experience contributing to business development initiatives, proposal efforts, practice development, training programs, or knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Nice to have
- CPA, CFA, MBA, PMP, or other relevant professional certification.
- Experience with FP&A platforms such as Anaplan, Adaptive Planning, Planful, OneStream, Oracle Hyperion, Cognos, or similar planning technologies.
- Experience with ERP technologies including SAP, Oracle, Workday, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar ERP platforms.
- Experience supporting mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, refinancing, capital raises, or scenario modeling.
- Experience within financial services, healthcare, life sciences, or other highly regulated industries.
