Managed Services Delivery - Senior Manager

As a Senior Manager in our Managed Services Delivery practice, you will lead client engagements and delivery teams responsible for critical finance and accounting operations. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, oversee the quality and scalability of delivery, and identify opportunities to improve processes, reporting, technology, and the overall effectiveness of the finance organization.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Lead Managed Services engagements across assessment, transition, and ongoing delivery operations.
- Serve as a strategic partner to senior client stakeholders throughout outsourced controllership and finance-transformation initiatives.
- Oversee delivery across core controllership activities, including accounting operations, financial close, financial reporting, and related finance processes.
- Drive process improvement and standardization across procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, and record-to-report functions.
- Advise senior client leadership on complex accounting and operational challenges and develop actionable solutions.
- Oversee the design and implementation of dashboards, data models, operational reporting, KPI frameworks, and strategic management insights.
- Drive the use of finance technologies, AI, automation, and other digital capabilities to improve scalability, quality, and efficiency.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and stakeholders to support integrated delivery and strong client outcomes.
- Supervise and conduct detailed reviews of team deliverables to maintain quality and manage delivery risk.
- Manage, mentor, and coach Consultants and Managers, providing meaningful feedback and supporting professional development.
- Identify opportunities to expand existing client relationships and develop additional solutions based on client needs.
- Participate in recruiting, proposals, business development, methodology development, and other practice-building initiatives.
- Stay current on accounting, finance, managed services, and emerging technology trends relevant to client strategies.
What you must have:
- 8-12 years of experience in public accounting, accounting advisory, outsourced accounting, managed services, and/or corporate accounting or finance, including at least 1 year of public accounting audit experience.
- Experience leading significant accounting or finance engagements involving financial close, reporting, controllership operations, or related finance processes.

- Experience leading complex accounting and controllership operations governed by U.S. GAAP, financial reporting requirements, and internal controls.
- Experience overseeing month-end and year-end close, financial reporting, and broader general accounting operations.
- Experience leading process improvement across procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, record-to-report, or related end-to-end finance processes.
- Experience serving as a primary client contact and advising senior finance or accounting leadership.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams, engagement delivery, timelines, quality, and competing client priorities.
- Experience reviewing complex team deliverables and developing Consultants and Managers through coaching and feedback.
- Experience designing or overseeing dashboards, data models, KPI reporting, management reporting, or related analytics.
- Experience identifying and implementing technology-enabled or automated finance solutions.
- Experience contributing to client expansion, proposals, business development, recruiting, or practice-development efforts.
Nice to have:
- Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA, MBA, CFA, or another relevant professional credential.
- Experience with finance technologies, ERP platforms, data visualization, AI, automation, or workflow tools.
- Experience leading managed services, outsourced controllership, shared-services, or finance-transformation engagements.
- Experience transitioning accounting or finance activities from an internal operating model to an outsourced or managed-services environment.
