As a Finance Specialist – Manufacturing Finance, you will support manufacturing and supply chain operations through financial planning, analysis, reporting, and performance management. You will work closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Finance teams to drive cost optimization, inventory control, profitability improvement, and operational efficiency.

This role requires the application of financial principles, analytical skills, and business insights to support both day‑to‑day operations and long‑term business objectives.

As a Finance Specialist – Manufacturing Finance, you will be responsible for:

Manufacturing Finance & Operational Support

• Supporting site and regional manufacturing finance activities, including planning, forecasting, pacing, and financial closing processes.
• Driving financial visibility and performance improvement across manufacturing and supply chain operations.
• Partnering with operational leaders to support informed business decisions and performance management.

Financial Planning & Analysis

• Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Monitoring performance against plans and identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Analyzing manufacturing, supply chain, and operational results to provide actionable insights.
• Supporting initiatives focused on cost optimization, productivity, and profitability improvement.

P&L & Balance Sheet Management

• Supporting Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet activities, including:
  • Cost accounting
  • Inventory management
  • Inventory revaluations
  • Standard costing
  • Variance analysis
  • Product fulfillment accounting
  • Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) recognition
  • Functional cost management
  • Plant & Equipment (P&E) reporting
• Supporting inventory controls, physical inventory activities, and compliance requirements.

Business Partnership & Project Support

• Advising functional leaders regarding finance processes, projects, and business procedures.
• Collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders to coordinate financial activities and support business objectives.
• Contributing to projects as a team member or leading smaller finance initiatives.
• Supporting workstreams with timelines typically ranging from 3–6 months and business impact extending beyond project completion.

To be successful in this role, you will:

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college. (Or a High School Diploma / GED with at least 4 years of relevant Finance experience.)
• Bring a minimum of 3 additional years of experience in Manufacturing Operations, Manufacturing Finance, Supply Chain Finance, or a related finance discipline.
• Demonstrate knowledge of:
  • Manufacturing finance
  • Cost accounting
  • Inventory controls
  • Financial planning and analysis
  • Financial reporting
• Possess strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Build strong working relationships across multiple functions and organizational levels.
• Be able to coordinate multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
• Demonstrate solid organizational and financial analysis capabilities.
• Use data and financial insights to support decision‑making and continuous improvement initiatives.
