In data engineering at PwC, you will focus on designing and building data infrastructure and systems to enable efficient data processing and analysis. You will be responsible for developing and implementing data pipelines, data integration, and data transformation solutions.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills

• Senior Associate – Microsoft Fabric
• Dsigns and develops scalable data solutions in Microsoft Fabric. Works independently on modules and contributes to architecture discussions.
• Design and implement end-to-end data pipelines in Fabric
• Build and optimize Lakehouse architectures
• Develop advanced Power BI semantic models and reports
• Write and optimize complex SQL and PySpark transformations
• Integrate data from multiple sources (APIs, databases, streaming)
• Ensure data quality, governance, and security compliance
• Collaborate with business stakeholders for requirements
• Mentor junior team members
• Mandatory Skills
• Microsoft Fabric (Data Factory, Lakehouse, Warehouse)
• Power BI (DAX, modeling, performance tuning)
• SQL (advanced)

Good knowledge of:

• PySpark / Spark
• Data modeling (star/snowflake schema)

• As part of the Data Engineering team you will design, build, and maintain productive data pipelines using PySpark and SQL. As a Senior Associate you will leverage your technical strengths to analyze complex concepts, guide and mentor others, and maintain professional standards while delivering top-quality data solutions. This position provides an exciting opportunity to work in Microsoft Azure environments and collaborate with stakeholders to support business intelligence and advanced analytics initiatives.

What You Must Have

• Bachelor's Degree
• 4 years of experience in data engineering
• Oral and written proficiency in English required

What Sets You Apart

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate
• Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate
• Developing reports and dashboards using Power BI
• Understanding DevOps practices in data projects
• Familiarity with Delta Lake or Lakehouse architecture
• Experience with Data Modeling and ETL orchestration
• Excelling in problem-solving and teamwork
