Sobre esta vaga de Export Sales & Distributor Representative (028 - 1146) na Hunt St
Looking for Philippines-based candidates
Job Role: Export Sales Development
Compensation range: $1750 AUD - $3500 AUD / Monthly
Work Schedule: Full-time, with core AEST overlap for head office coordination plus availability to reach distributors in assigned export markets
Who We Are:
At Hunt St, we help Australian companies hire top remote talent in the Philippines. For this role, you will be formally employed through an Employer of Record (EOR) arrangement. We are not an outsourcing agency. All of our roles are 100% remote, so you’ll be able to work from home.
Who The Client Is:
This role owns export sales growth through the client’s international distributor and reseller network. You’ll find and sign new distributors, run the day-to-day relationship with existing ones, push open opportunities toward close, and pull in the internal support each deal needs across pricing, product, regulatory and shipping.
You’ll report to the Business Manager and work closely with Marketing, Customer Service, Supply Chain and Regulatory. This is a self-directed role. You decide how the territory gets worked, within the agreed targets, pricing authority and response standards.
Role Overview:
This role exists to give the client's MENA distributor network the attention it hasn't had since their consultant left. You'll be the day-to-day point of contact for existing distributors across the Middle East and North Africa, working in Arabic, with the goal of deepening those accounts and lifting order volume. A secondary part of the role covers support for the ASEAN network and light groundwork in a small number of undeveloped territories.
This is an account growth role first, not a cold-outbound role. Most of the network already exists. The client needs someone who can service it well, spot where accounts are underperforming, and act on it.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research, prospect and assess new distributors and resellers in assigned markets, then move the right ones through the client’s approval and distribution agreement process and onboard them.
- Act as the primary contact for assigned distributors. Hold a regular call and review cadence, know their business and their market, and track their performance against the distribution agreement so underperformance and unmet demand both get surfaced early.
- Keep visibility of every open opportunity your distributors are working and follow it up. Provide quotes, reference pricing, product information and tender support to move deals forward. Any pricing or discount outside the approved price list must be signed off in writing by the Business Manager before you quote it.
- Deliver product and sales training to distributors, and build monthly sales and product campaigns plus a quarterly distributor newsletter alongside Marketing.
- Support distributors with local product registration, import and regulatory requirements, and pull the product, quality and regulatory documentation together with the internal owners. Feed back what you learn about competitor moves, pricing pressure and market access.
- Track open orders, coordinate with Supply Chain on preparation and shipping, and resolve documentation or fulfillment issues while keeping the distributor informed.
- Keep the CRM accurate and current. Distributors, contacts, opportunities and activity logged within agreed timeframes, with regular territory and pipeline updates to the Business Manager.
Requirements
- Proven B2B sales experience taking opportunities from prospecting through quotation to close. Export, distributor or channel sales, or international account management, is strongly preferred.
- Working proficiency in written and spoken Arabic is strongly preferred for distributor and customer engagement in key export markets.
- Exceptional written and spoken English, strong enough to run commercial discussions and correspondence with international distributors and Australian head office stakeholders.
- Commercial judgment around pricing and margin, and the attention to detail that quoting demands.
- Comfortable picking up technical products quickly and explaining them clearly. Medical device, healthcare or medical imaging background is a plus, not a requirement.
- Confident in CRM and ERP platforms, or able to learn them fast.
- Able to run a territory independently, prioritize across multiple markets and deliver against targets with limited day-to-day direction.
- Tertiary qualification in business, sales or marketing preferred, but not essential.
Benefits
This is a remote role that will be set up as an independent contractor engagement.
To ensure alignment and transparency, successful candidates will be expected to:
- Be available for meetings and collaboration during core AEST business hours, and arrange enough overlap with assigned export markets to meet agreed response standards.
- Acknowledge distributor enquiries and support requests within one business day.
- Be willing and able to travel internationally when required, including industry conferences, distributor visits and periodic travel to the Australian head office.
- Disclose any existing ongoing roles or client work.
- Reflect this engagement on their LinkedIn profile (clearly marked as “Independent Contractor”).
