The Opportunity:
As part of our expanding Medical Affairs organization, we seek a dynamic and experienced Director, Stakeholder Engagement Strategy & Operations to lead the strategy, planning, and execution of Global Medical Advisory Boards. This role may also have a more limited contribution to global congress planning, ensuring seamless integration of advisory boards with congress objectives and broader Medical Affairs priorities. This individual will report to the Head of Scientific Stakeholder Engagement within Global Medical Excellence and will partner cross-functionally with Commercial, Clinical Development, and Research, maintaining leadership for global advisory boards and ensuring seamless integration with broader Medical Affairs priorities. Key responsibilities include:
Advisory Board Strategy & Operations

Lead Medical Affairs advisory board strategy, planning, and execution for specific global and U.S. regional advisory boards, ensuring alignment with medical strategy, stakeholder engagement priorities, and key congress activities.

Collaborate across Medical Affairs to develop and align global and regional advisory board tactical plans with broader Medical Affairs priorities.

Ensure compliant planning, execution, and documentation of global and regional advisory boards.

Develop and execute on processes for compliant cross-functional sharing of advisory board insights.

Partner with internal teams (Medical Affairs, Clinical, Commercial) to design impactful advisory board agendas and content to ensure alignment with strategic priorities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with Commercial, Clinical Development, and Research to ensure consistent communication and scientific engagement while maintaining appropriate governance and firewalls.

Act as the central coordination point for cross-functional teams to align on advisory board priorities, deliverables, and messaging.
Operational Leadership & Governance

Lead operational execution of global and regional advisory boards, including agency/vendor oversight, contracting and logistics, budget management, and coordination of internal and external stakeholders.

Ensure compliance with global and regional regulatory requirements (FDA, EMA, PMDA, EFPIA, IFPMA).

Establish best practices, SOPs, and governance processes for advisory board execution.

Establish scalable, compliant processes to capture, synthesize, and disseminate actionable advisory board insights across appropriate cross-functional stakeholders, in partnership with Medical Affairs Insights & Analytics.
Required Skills, Experience and Education:

Advanced degree (MS, PharmD, PhD or equivalent in life sciences preferred but not required).

10+ years’ experience in Medical Affairs within biotech/pharma, with a strong background in scientific engagement and advisory board strategy and execution.

Proven track record in leading global and regional advisory boards across U.S., EU, and APAC regions.

Demonstrated ability to independently manage multiple complex advisory boards and stakeholder engagements simultaneously, from strategic planning through execution and post-meeting insights.

Strong understanding of the oncology therapeutic landscape, particularly pancreatic cancer, non-small cell lung cancer, and colorectal cancer.

Deep knowledge of compliance standards governing global advisory boards, external scientific engagement, and scientific exchange.

Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional collaboration in a complex, matrixed environment.

Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills.

Experience managing budgets, vendors, and operational processes related to advisory boards and other scientific stakeholder engagements.
Preferred Skills:

Experience in early and late-phase development and product launch preparation in oncology.

Prior leadership of global advisory boards strategy alignment.

Experience working in fast-paced, innovative, clinical-stage biotech organizations.
