Digital Marketing Associate – Marketing Systems & Marketing Reporting (Marketo)

Location: Hyderabad, India

This is an office‑first role. Working together in person supports close, real‑time collaboration and team alignment, enabling us to deliver our best work. You will work primarily in the office, with the flexibility to work remotely for 40% of your time (two days per week).

The actual location of this job is in Hyderabad, India. Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates and their families, if needed. 

Intro Summary of the Role

The Digital Marketing Associate plays a critical execution and enablement role across Lonza’s marketing tools and performance reporting ecosystem. This role supports all CDMO business platforms by ensuring high-quality marketing data operations, accurate reporting, and reliable execution within marketing technology platforms.

Reporting into the Director, Marketing Systems and Reporting, this role focuses on shared services and common processes related to lead management, campaign setup support, data hygiene, and performance reporting. The role also provides digital execution support for events and webinars as needed across platforms.

What You Will Do

Marketing Data Governance

• Execute data hygiene and deduplication activities.

• Support enrichment workflows and flag data quality issues.

• Manage data imports and audience segmentation updates.

• Manage related IT tickets and user acceptance testing.

Marketing Reporting Support

• Pull and prepare marketing performance reports for various stakeholders.

• Maintain standard dashboards and reporting outputs.

• Support monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc reporting cycles.

Event and Webinar Digital Support

• Support digital promotion for events and webinars in collaboration with Marketing Operations and Strategic Marketing.

• Support Sales promotional efforts for events.

• Manage lead assignments for events and webinars.

Process, Documentation and Enablement

• Maintain documentation for recurring systems processes.

• Identify and recommend process improvements.

• Leverage AI-enabled tools such as Copilot or Power Automate to automate workflows and improve efficiency.

Digital Project and Tool Management

• Serve as a core contributor to the onboarding, rollout, and adoption of new digital marketing and commercial tools.

• Support digital project management processes for new tools, including: requirements documentation, timelines, and cross-functional coordination.

• Support change management and adoption efforts through documentation, training materials, and usage tracking.

• Actively monitor the evolving marketing technology and AI marketing tools landscape, sharing relevant insights and opportunities to support informed adoption decisions.

What we are looking for

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Information Systems, or related field.

• 2-4 years’ experience in digital marketing operations or systems.

• Hands-on experience with Marketo, Salesforce or equivalent.

• Working knowledge of CAN-SPAM, CCPA and GDPR compliant practices in B2B environments

• Strong data management and reporting skills.

• Familiarity with AI-enabled productivity tools.

Preferred

• Experience with project management tools (Wrike, Monday.com, Asana or equivalent).
• Intermediate knowledge of BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio).

• Experience with website reporting using Google Analytics 4, Adobe Analytics or equivalent.

• Familiarity with graphic design platforms (Canva, Adobe Illustrator or equivalent).
