Job Description:

Deputy Program Manager MID

HOW A DEPUTY PROGRAM MANAGER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

The Deputy Program Manager (DPM) MID supports the Program Manager in executing a complex intelligence support contract focused on theater‑readiness and crisis response across the Indo‑Asia‑Pacific region. The DPM ensures smooth daily operations, coordinates surge execution, supports contractor integration, and maintains continuity across program management functions.

Program Operations: Manage day‑to‑day project operations to meet production schedules and ensure efficient use of systems, tools, and facilities. Maintain productive relationships with government customers and coordinate contractor activities to meet mission requirements.

Surge Execution & Crisis Support: Support tracking, reporting, and coordination of contractor surge actions during crisis conditions. Assist in scaling contractor footprint, staffing, and support requirements when surge operations are executed.

Program Management Office (PMO) Functions: Establish and support PMO operations for post‑activation execution, including communications, security processing, workspace coordination, travel, visas, taxes, and SOFA considerations.

Contractor Staff Integration: Oversee Intelligence Management Specialists and Special Security Technicians supporting receipt, staging, and onward integration (RSOI) of contractor personnel.

Risk, Cost & Performance Awareness: Support risk identification and mitigation related to cost, schedule, performance, staffing, and SCIF/resource constraints.

Support to Program Manager Expert: Assist with resource alignment, reporting, and synchronized mission support across operational cells (Security, Strategic Communications, Intelligence Management). Contribute to management reviews, program reporting, and coordination with government contracting officers and stakeholders.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED

Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI w/ polygraph

US Citizenship Required: Yes.

Desired Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of related experience.  At least a portion of your experience must be in the last 2 years.

Required Skills:

• Intelligence background that allows for effective planning of intelligence support across the spectrum of intelligence activities.

• Demonstrated ability to lead high-pressure mission surges and manage a 72-hour response mandate.

Preferred Skills:

• Extensive experience supporting U.S. military operations in the Indo-Pacific region or China-specific mission sets.

• Deep understanding of the mission set and organizational structure.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI)

The likely salary range for this position is $136,000 - $184,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
