Sobre esta vaga de Deployment Strategist na Mercor
About Mercor
Mercor's mission is to organize human intelligence to power the AI economy. We're a leading AI data company, building the layer between human expertise and frontier models. Millions of domain experts on the platform are paid over $4 million per day to train frontier AI models. Mercor's APEX benchmark family measures AI's real-world impact on professional work. Mercor Enterprise brings this same infrastructure to Fortune 500 companies: helping companies capture how their best people actually work, translating that expertise directly back into agents.
Mercor is creating a new category of work where expertise powers AI advancement. Achieving this requires an ambitious, fast-paced and deeply committed team. You’ll work alongside researchers, operators, and AI companies at the forefront of shaping the systems that are redefining society. Mercor is a profitable Series C company valued at $10 billion. We work in-person five days a week in our San Francisco, NYC, or London offices.
About the Role
As a Deployment Strategist, you'll sit at the intersection of Product, Engineering, Operations, GTM, and our customers - the world's leading AI labs. You'll help grow Mercor's most strategic accounts by scoping complex AI data projects during the sales process, developing the technical strategy behind account growth plans, and ensuring every committed project is set up to deliver.
As part of our Applied AI team, you'll own technical scoping upstream of commitment - turning ambiguous customer requests into sized, deliverable projects and serving as the voice of the customer inside the Product organization. You'll also own the roadmap for customer integrations and the processes that make delivery measurably more reliable with every cycle.
This is a highly technical, customer-facing role in the Product Operations job family for someone who enjoys solving ambiguous problems, working directly with strategic customers, and building systems that scale.
What You’ll Do
Scope Customer Solutions: Partner with GTM and customers during the pre-sales process to scope complex AI data projects. Define technical requirements, break down and size the engineering effort, identify the ROI for each project.
Drive Account Growth: Work directly with AI researchers at leading labs and internal GTM leads to formulate and execute account growth plans. Leverage Mercor's evaluation infrastructure and data inventory to generate new demand, and track the competitive landscape to position Mercor to win.
Lead Customer Implementations: Assemble the right solution for every committed project - composing the teams, resources, and bandwidth it will take to deliver - and coordinate across Product, Engineering, GTM, and customer stakeholders to ensure successful launches.
Own Customer Integrations: Set the roadmap for integrations with customer platforms and data systems, expanding the integration surfaces that unblock new revenue and driving toward seamless, reliable delivery regardless of customer infrastructure.
Make Delivery Reliable: Lead delivery incident response and root-cause analysis, triage technical blockers to the right owners, and track corrective actions to resolution so the same issue never recurs.
Shape The Product: Identify recurring customer needs and translate them into product requirements. Own the roadmap for customer integrations and partner with Engineering to expand platform capabilities.
What We’re Looking For
Experience: 2+ years in Product Management, Technical Program Management, Solutions Engineering, Forward Deployed Engineering, Implementation Consulting, or a similar technical, customer-facing role.
Technical Fluency: Familiar with coding agents. Comfortable using SQL/Python without agent assistance as well. Can break down large engineering problems into well-scoped roadmaps. Able to hold your own in technical conversations with AI researchers and engineers.
Ownership: Thrive in ambiguous environments and take ownership from problem definition through execution. Customer-focused with excellent written and verbal communication.
Commercial Judgment: Comfortable weighing revenue upside against delivery cost, and spotting the account opportunities others miss.
Systems Thinking: Strong project management and cross-functional communication skills. Passion for fixing problems at the source and building repeatable systems rather than one-off solutions.
