Provide contact and liaison between customers, the sales team and internal departments. Process incoming orders; receive, evaluate, and respond to written or telephoned customer inquiries in a timely manner. Work within established guidelines in order to achieve the objectives of the service agreement consistent with customer expectations, company policy and profit and quality requirements.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receive inbound calls and place outbound calls to customers in order to provide information about products and services, to take orders, or troubleshoot and resolve challenges.
- Keep records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, issues, and comments, as well as actions taken.
- Respond to customers' service or billing questions; check to ensure that appropriate changes were made to resolve customers' questions.
- Ability to solve problems, troubleshoot and prioritize tasks for urgency throughout the day.
- Be flexible and work well in an everchanging and fast paced environment.
- Phone and email etiquette and standards of excellence in all forms of communication.
- Coordinate same-day deliveries and pickups for customers. Process pickup requests from customers and Sales team. Respond to delivery/routing questions from customers.
- Respond to product inquiries from customers.
- Confirm invoices in system, put in numerical order and file invoices.
- Proactively identify opportunities for improvements in products, shipping, service, or billing methods and procedures to help to continue to grow our business.
- Other duties as assigned by Manager.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Inside office environment
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Three years’ experience in customer service required
- Excellent verbal communication skills and problem resolution ability required.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office products (e.g. Word, Excel, Access, Outlook).
EDUCATION
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in working in food manufacturing or distribution.

Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law (for example: state minimum wage thresholds). The expected base rate for this role is between $15.00-$25.00/hour.
