Role Summary

As a CPS Expense Expert, you will be responsible for driving and supporting service delivery, operational health and process excellence of People Services Expenses team.

Expert-level Responsibilities

a) Facilitate the management of service delivery of CPS Expenses team, supporting Global ING Business Partners for the relevant services in scope,

b) Cover and deliver some of the complex tasks of the team as deemed necessary,

c) Act as a first point of escalation for team’s BAU issues and help and/or guide the team towards its resolution,

d) Perform quality assurance review or control checks for the processes covered by the team,

e) Work with Senior Circle Lead towards Change execution,

f) Ensure that reports and discussions related to BAU/service are delivered and competed, and

g) Oversee and manage various stakeholders

h) Provide support to Circle Lead on other aspects impacting BAU and/or team performance

Process Responsibilities

• Process company invoices and employee expense claims within contractual timelines and policy requirements.
• Perform reconciliation, validation, and payment submission activities for vendor invoices.
• Review and approve expense reports, ensuring documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with company policy.
• Partner closely with Finance and HR stakeholders to support operational processes.
• Respond to employee queries and resolve concerns related to expense claims.
• Ensure operational controls are maintained and identify potential risks and mitigation opportunities.
• Support the achievement of operational service level agreements (SLAs) and performance targets.

Required Skills and Experience

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• The ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Experience working in a multinational or shared services environment.
• A customer-focused mindset and commitment to delivering high-quality service.
• Experience in a Shared Services or Technology industry environment is an advantage.
