About the role

As our Corporate Counsel, you'll provide legal advice and coordinate legal work across our global direct-to-consumer retail business. You'll work closely with colleagues across Legal, Compliance and Risk Management and support a broad range of matters including consumer protection, ecommerce, privacy, digital marketing, the LEGO® loyalty program, commercial agreements, digital procurement, and general legal support. You'll play a key role in helping the LEGO Group navigate a busy consumer retail environment while supporting both our business and licensed partner programs.

Required Qualifications

• Earned a Master's degree in Law or an equivalent university-level legal qualification.
• Built post-graduate legal experience in an international environment.
• Delivered legal advice relating to consumer protection, compliance, and regulatory matters.
• Applied legal support within direct-to-consumer ecommerce businesses or comparable consumer-facing digital or retail environments.
• Managed legal matters involving online commerce, digital marketing activities or consumer-facing digital services.

Preferred Qualifications

• Used legal considerations within commercial, digital or data-driven contexts.
• Supported digital business initiatives through practical legal advisory work.
• Delivered legal support relating to loyalty programs, including CRM, personalization or consumer engagement.
• Understood and applied data privacy laws relevant to direct-to-consumer ecommerce activities.

• Support for ecommerce operations, licensed partner programs, and digital initiatives.

• Strong partnerships that help business teams make informed and compliant decisions.

Life on the team

You'll join the Digital, eCommerce and Marketplaces legal team within Legal, Compliance and Risk Management. The team provides global support to direct-to-consumer activities, digital organizations, and online intellectual property enforcement. You'll collaborate with colleagues based in Denmark, China, Singapore, and the US. This is a team where business partnering, collaboration, curiosity about online retail, and a genuine interest in consumer-focused digital services are part of everyday work.

What success looks like

Success in this role means becoming a trusted legal partner who can provide timely advice and coordinate legal work across a complex global online retail business. Over the next 12 to 18 months, you'll deepen your business partnering skills, strengthen collaboration across geographies, and confidently make legal assessments in a busy direct-to-consumer environment. You'll work closely with business stakeholders across multiple locations and functions, helping them move forward with confidence.
