What You’ll Do:

• Review menus and special orders to determine types and quantities of food to be prepared
• Cook and prepare meals for patients/residents, cafeteria service, and catering needs
• Follow standardized recipes to ensure consistency and quality
• Prepare daily menu items to ensure food is ready at scheduled service times
• Assist with customer-facing and service duties as needed
• Adhere to all food safety guidelines, including proper storage, handling, and preparation
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen and work area
• Work as part of a team to keep meal service running smoothly and on time
• In the absence of department leadership, help guide staff to complete daily responsibilities

This is a physically active role. You will be on your feet, bending, lifting, and moving throughout your shift.

• Previous cooking experience required
• Dependable and punctual
• Ability to stay organized and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Can follow direction and standardized recipes
• Works well with others and supports the team

• Positive attitude and strong work ethic

Helpful Experience Includes:

• Healthcare or long-term care food service
• Restaurant, cafeteria, or hospitality cooking
• High-volume meal preparation

Compensation Information:

The hourly pay range shown represents the base pay range for this position. Individual pay is determined based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills, and market considerations. In addition to base pay, eligible team members may earn additional compensation through shift, weekend, holiday, on-call, and other applicable differentials.
