Job Description
Responsibilities:
As a valuable member of the Food & Beverage team, you will be responsible for the delivery of championship customer service to fans during various events at all of our MLSE locations.
Work diligently to ensure safe food handling principles are practiced.
Perform opening and closing duties as required.
Ensure work area and equipment are clean and organized at all times.
Perform other administrative or service functions as required.
Ensure areas are cleaned and stocked for our Fans to enjoy.
Adhere to all MLSE service standards and policies including Health & Safety.
Work in compliance with the provisions of the Occupational Health & Safety Act.
Work independently and diligently to ensure safe food handling principles are practiced in a fan-facing role
Qualifications:
Note: Before reviewing the qualifications listed below, we want you to know that we understand you may not meet all the qualifications described and have other relevant expertise and experience.
Must have a valid Smart Serve certification.
Must be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays as the need arises.
Must be of legal age to serve alcohol in the province of Ontario.
Previous food service experience an asset.
Safe food handling training an asset.
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
Shown ability to provide outstanding customer service.
Work well under pressure; balance multiple tasks simultaneously.
Able to pay close attention to detail.
Legally entitled to work in Canada.
Ability to perform tasks requiring extensive walking and lifting, including lifting up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
Catering and Production Experience Is Preferred.
