Job Description:

Function :                                To analyse business requirements and assist in defining                                             effective solutions for those requirements.

Skills/Knowledge:                    Ability to assist in the preparation of workshops.

Ability to write business specifications from a defined business requirement.

Basic ability to analyse business requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.

Basic presentation skills.

Basic understanding of one analysis technique i.e. normalisation, entity modelling, process flow diagrams.

Basic understanding of relevant DXC analysis techniques, standards and methodologies. 

Good interpersonal skills.

Good level of knowledge and appreciation of the business practices and processes of one sector the insurance industry, such as indicated by the possession of pertinent CII qualifications.  The sectors include life, general, pensions,          health and reinsurance.

Good level of knowledge of one of DXCs’ small to medium size products or sound general knowledge of at least one functional area of the larger products.

Good planning and organisational skills.

Good understanding of software testing tools and the software development process.

Good verbal communication skills.

Good written communication skills.

In-depth understanding of the execution of test plans, including the ability to accurately document expected results against actual results.

Normal Tasks :            Arrange and run test plan walkthrough meetings.

                                                Assist in the development of testing strategies and test plans.

                                                Attend client meetings in order to gather business requirements.

                                                Attend walkthrough meetings of  business specifications.

                                                Plan and co-ordinate the execution of test plans by less experienced staff.
