[What the role is]
The Executive / Senior Executive plays a pivotal role in supporting the corporate functions of the Division, focusing on operational work processes and quality standards of all non-clinical support requirements within the blood collection centres.The individual will work closely with a team of executives, as well as relevant internal and external stakeholders and blood collection support teams across centres, to meet the administrative and operational demands of the Division in a timely and efficient manner.
[What you will be working on]
The individual will support corporate operational and administrative functions across one or more of the following areas.
The individual will support division-level procurement and may also serve as the Goods Receiving Officer (GRO). The role also involves supporting the management of IT systems, registration, projects, statistics, and data analytics. In addition, the individual will assist in facilities management and workplace safety across blood collection centres, contributing to the maintenance of workplace efficiency, quality, and safety standards for non-clinical functions.
The role also encompasses centre-level reporting, donor engagement and retention, as well as asset management, budget planning, and centre-level procurement. The individual will be expected to prepare periodic statistics and performance reports, and to support routine operations resource planning for blood collection centres, including staff time checking, centre security, and data management.
The individual is expected to actively identify opportunities to leverage AI tools to improve work processes and operational efficiency within the Division. This includes working closely with vendors and IM teams to develop and implement AI solutions, as well as leading or supporting AI-related projects from conceptualisation through to delivery. The individual should be able to evaluate the suitability of AI tools for specific operational needs and contribute to building a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team.
[What we are looking for]
The ideal candidate should possess at least a diploma. A minimum of 3 years of experience as an Executive in a Singapore Public Agency or equivalent is required, preferably in a similar capacity within the Public Service or healthcare settings.
Strong computer literacy is essential, including proficiency in MS Office and experience in managing work requirements through various systems and software solutions. The candidate should be able to work well in a fast-paced environment, multitask effectively, and meet deadlines. The ability to take initiative, make sound decisions, and work collaboratively in a team setting is also required. Good communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills are essential.
