As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by investigating and resolving issues across various components of essential business systems. The position demands continuous engagement with multiple teams to maintain system stability and support business continuity through timely and effective problem resolution.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and support of business applications.
- Document troubleshooting processes and solutions to build a knowledge base for future reference.
- Assist in the development and implementation of system improvements to enhance reliability and performance.
- Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on complex issues.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Database Administration (DBA).
- Strong knowledge of database backup, recovery, and performance tuning techniques.
- Experience with database security management and user access controls.
- Ability to monitor and optimize database performance to meet business requirements.
- Familiarity with database patching, upgrades, and migration processes.
- Skilled in troubleshooting database-related issues and providing timely resolutions.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration (DBA).
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
