About the team and the role:
The AML Compliance Analyst is based in Luxembourg and reports to the AML Investigations Supervisor. The role supports eBay S.à r.l.’s AML compliance activities by reviewing potentially suspicious seller activity and supporting regulatory reporting to the Financial Intelligence Unit. You will work independently while collaborating with partners across the business to meet established service levels and quality standards.
What you will accomplish:
- Review potentially suspicious seller activity to identify matters requiring further investigation.
- Draft Suspicious Activity Reports/Suspicious Transaction Reports (SARs/STRs) for reporting to the Financial Intelligence Unit.
- Manage investigations independently and take initiative to meet established SLAs and key performance metrics.
- Maintain required quality standards while working in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborate with a range of partners to support timely investigation and compliance activities.
- Support departmental projects and tasks as directed by the EU Chief Compliance Officer or Senior AML Investigations Manager.
What you will bring:
- 2+ years of AML Compliance experience in Luxembourg, preferably within payments or fintech.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills are an advantage.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with senior leadership.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience collaborating with a range of stakeholders and delivering work within required timelines.
