Pwc Luxembourg is hiring a Manager VAT Compliance (m/f/d). What if it was you?

Your mission :  Our VAT practice is fast growing and we are looking for people who are eager to work in a dynamic and motivated team of 50+ people.  

You will oversee the VAT compliance obligations and filings for a portfolio of clients, local and international, and from different industries. As part of your role, you will provide VAT technical advice and practical assistance covering domestic and cross-border transactions and operations. You will be part of a team delivering high value-added services to its clients by using a constantly evolving tailored tax technology combined with deep technology expertise able to react immediately to changes in the VAT landscape. 

Be a part of our team where you will:  

Build and maintain relationships with clients and provide high quality client service; 

Manage and ensure delivery to clients, meeting technical excellence and practical/business driven approach; 

Support clients during VAT audits and liaise with the VAT authorities when necessary; 

Coach and develop more junior team members. Train our people and clients during dedicated technical sessions; 

Contribute to process improvements and to the development of our tools and technology to achieve further efficiency; 

Keep abreast of changes in local and European VAT legislations and identify opportunities and risks for clients arising as a result of new or changing VAT rules. 

Let’s talk about you. If you have … 

At least 5 years of professional experience in a similar position, in an accounting firm or a tax consultancy firm – In Luxembourg or abroad; 

Strong accounting and tax knowledge, especially in VAT; 

Excellent organisational and people skills; 

Critical thinking, you are disciplined, you display professional scepticism and you show initiative; 

Fluency in English. Knowledge of German and/or French is considered as an asset.
