Sobre esta vaga de AI Product Owner, Agentic Commerce na Elfbeauty
We're hiring an AI Product Owner, Agentic Commerce to grow e.l.f.'s presence and performance across emerging agent-driven shopping channels — from AI assistants and answer engines to conversational and agentic checkout experiences.
This is a hands-on product role at the intersection of AI, commerce, and discoverability. You'll own the roadmap for how e.l.f. shows up, gets cited, and converts inside an ecosystem where shoppers discover, decide, and transact with the help of AI.
You'll work closely with our AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) team to increase e.l.f.'s visibility, share-of-answer, and citations across generative search and AI assistants (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, Copilot, Claude). You'll also partner with our Connected Commerce and CRM teams, acting as their go-to product partner for their Agentic needs — from wiring agentic discovery into our commerce stack to enabling agent-friendly offers, checkout, and personalized journeys.
This is a builder role for someone who lives at the seam between AI, search, and commerce.
Responsibilities
Own the Agentic Commerce roadmap
· Define and maintain the product vision and roadmap for e.l.f.'s Agentic Commerce channels, aligned to business and AI strategy.
· Sequence investment across the discovery-to-purchase path: agent discoverability, product data and content readiness, agent-friendly offers, and agentic checkout flows.
· Manage the product lifecycle end to end — from concept through launch, measurement, and optimization — with tight feedback loops.
Drive Agentic visibility with the AEO/GEO team
· Partner with AEO/GEO to grow e.l.f.'s visibility, share-of-answer, and citations across generative search and AI assistants.
· Ensure e.l.f.'s products, content, pricing, and offers are structured so AI agents can access, understand, and act on them accurately.
· Help map the agentic discovery journey — from how LLMs source and retrieve data, to how agents cite and convert — and find where intervention compounds.
· Co-build measurement for agentic visibility (citation tracking, share-of-answer, sentiment by engine) and tie it to commerce outcomes.
Support Connected Commerce and CRM for their Agentic needs
· Act as the central product partner for Connected Commerce and CRM teams building agentic capabilities — assessing needs, defining requirements, and setting success measures.
· Enable agent-driven experiences across our commerce stack: agent-readable product/offer data, headless and agentic checkout integrations, and connected journeys bridging discovery, personalization, and conversion.
· Support CRM in orchestrating personalized, agent-mediated customer journeys and lifecycle touchpoints.
· Promote consistency and alignment on the Agentic Commerce approach across teams.
Partner cross-functionally and lead execution
· Collaborate with engineering, data science, design, content, analytics, and external partners to evaluate solutions and determine paths to market.
· Write clear product requirements, specs, and acceptance criteria — including prompts, retrieval logic, structured data, and integration details.
· Run experiments, analyze performance, and ship often; make fast, data-informed decisions.
· Identify and mitigate risks to ensure high-quality, responsible, brand-safe delivery.
· Stay ahead of how AI is changing consumer behavior and the agentic ecosystem.
Requirements
Required
· 5–10 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in product management or product ownership owning roadmap, requirements, and delivery.
· Hands-on experience in at least one (ideally more) of: AI products, digital/e-commerce commerce, or AEO/GEO/SEO. Exposure to the agentic commerce landscape and how AI agents impact search, discovery, decisioning, and transaction flows is a strong plus.
· Strong understanding of how AI agents and answer/generative engines surface, cite, and act on content.
· Ability to write clear, detailed requirements and translate between technical (engineering, data, retrieval) and non-technical (marketing, CRM, commerce) stakeholders.
· Analytical and experimentation-driven; comfortable with data, dashboards, and reporting tools (GA, Looker/Tableau, Adobe Analytics).
· Excellent stakeholder management and communication; you influence without authority.
· A builder mindset — you move fast, are comfortable deciding with ~70% of the data, and love shipping.
Preferred
· Direct experience with Agentic Commerce, AEO, GEO, or AI-driven search/discovery (in-house or at a platform/agency).
· Familiarity with RAG, vector search, structured data, LLM data sourcing and crawler behavior, and making content agent-readable.
· Experience with agentic commerce frameworks/protocols and agent-based integrations (agent-friendly feeds, headless/agent checkout).
· Experience partnering with Connected Commerce and/or CRM teams on AI-enabled or agentic journeys.
· Background in beauty, retail, consumer goods, or high-velocity DTC/e-commerce.
· Active immersion in the AI and answer-engine ecosystem.
What success looks like
In your first year:
· A clear, prioritized Agentic Commerce roadmap the organization rallies behind.
· Measurable growth in e.l.f.'s visibility, share-of-answer, and citations across key AI assistants and generative search engines — with the AEO/GEO team.
· One or more shipped agentic commerce experiences delivered with Connected Commerce and/or CRM.
· Established credibility as the go-to product partner for Agentic needs across teams.
· A measurable connection between agentic visibility and commerce outcomes.
