We’re hiring an Electrical/Electronics Engineer to design and develop our automotive products in the areas of Active Safety and User-Experience. This position is located in TCI.

Advanced Software Engineer

Position Summary: Contribute feasibility estimates and safety implementation risks. Refine software safety requirements, detailed design and verification cases. Implement, review, integrate and document safety-related software. Execute tests, coverage and anomaly closure; provide release evidence. Support safety-impact analysis and controlled maintenance fixes. 

Your Role:

• Implement safety mechanisms, diagnostics, monitoring, fault handling and safe-state logic. 

• Create detailed design, code, unit tests and required analysis evidence. 

• Apply defensive programming, coding guidelines and freedom-from-interference controls. 

• Perform static analysis, structural coverage and fault-injection support as applicable. 

• Maintain traceability and resolve safety anomalies with documented impact analysis. 

Your Background:

• Exp Level 12Yrs to 14Yrs
• B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, or a related engineering discipline
• Embedded C/C++, microcontrollers, AUTOSAR/RTOS and debugging experience. 

• ISO 26262 Part 6 fundamentals, MISRA C/C++, unit testing and static analysis. 

• Requirements traceability, configuration management and Automotive SPICE. 

• Understanding of watchdogs, memory protection, communication monitoring and diagnostics. 

Preferred competencies 

• Model-based development, MC/DC, fault injection, safety analysis and certified functional-safety training.

• Production code 

• Unit and coverage evidence 

• Traceability 

• Safety anomaly resolution
