POSITION OVERVIEW
As an Account Director, you will be a strategic leader, translating client vision into impactful roadmaps and overseeing the delivery of Famously Effective work. This role demands a proven track record in managing and developing cross-functional teams, fostering deep client relationships, and identifying new revenue opportunities. You will expertly navigate complex projects, manage budgets, and ensure operational excellence while maintaining a keen understanding of the healthcare market.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead account members and provide cross discipline leadership to oversee the translation of our client’s vision into a roadmap that will achieve client goals, striving consistently to make Famously Effective work
- Be the key point person for all day-to-day client communication across multiple teams
- Effectively assign, delegate and monitor the work of agency staff assigned to your accounts
- Provide a model of project and team leadership; prepared, proactive, thorough, fair, balanced and a willingness to do whatever is required by clearly communicating expectations
- Manage and implement projects from concept to execution; create accurate budgets and schedules, manage budget with the partnership of PM, Finance and Executive Leadership
- Develop strong internal relationships with all disciplines; effective day-to-day management of the agency team in terms of direction and guidance
- Understand the healthcare market and competition, with a perspective and POV on trends that brings innovative thinking and ensures leadership quality deliverables
- Possess a strong knowledge of the client’s business, category and competition
- Oversee and manage legal approval process and talent tracking for all advertising
- Foster strong cohesive working interdisciplinary teams
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- At least 7 years of experience within Pharmaceutical Advertising or public health communications, branded and unbranded a plus
- Proven track record of managing team and developing staff within account and other disciplines
- Experience and established approach in building relationships that result in new, profitable revenue opportunities as well as driving incremental growth with existing clients
- Experience negotiating SOW and contracts, effective forecasting, scoping with relationships within PM and Finance departments

The base salary range for this position at the time of this posting is indicated below. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications.
