Senior Art Director, Health
Weber Shandwick Boston is looking for a Senior Art Director, Health to join their growing creative team and help push the craft across several high-profile healthcare accounts. They will help to spearhead the creative work alongside a team of creative directors, copywriters, and designers. The ideal candidate should have 5+ years of experience in the digital/social space and be both a conceptual thinker as well as a talented designer.
If there's a medium that gets people engaged in our brands’ stories, get ready to play in that space. Whether driving a big project (a multi-channel campaign) or overseeing social creative, this candidate will be expected to deliver exciting, cutting-edge, brand-focused visuals.
The candidate must be comfortable directly engaging with clients and bringing their creative ideas to life. Working with some of the most talented copywriters and designers, this candidate must meet the following criteria:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Help lead design across a wide range of assignments, including identity work, campaign creative, social content, video, mockups, infographics, presentations, experiential and print collateral/OOH.
- Experience in designing for social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, LinkedIn and YouTube.) with an advanced understanding of best practices for creative, design, and layout.
- Ensure all visual design adheres to existing brand guidelines.
- Create design solutions that meet or exceed strategic objectives.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across teams.
- Help develop long-term creative plans and recommendations for client objectives.
- Join client meetings, brainstorms and planning sessions for ongoing projects.
- Build and maintain strong rapport with creative team colleagues, client leads and project managers
- Cultivate an inclusive culture as a part of the team that values trust, honesty, and team accountability towards defined goals and results
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of art direction and/or design experience in a related agency department or industry (advertising, digital, social media, publishing/content or public relations).
- Prior healthcare/public health experience.
- Must have a portfolio.
- This role will be required to work onsite in our Boston office two days per week.
- Be curious, self-motivated, hard-working, well-organized, thick skinned and resilient to ever-changing timelines, requests, and deliverables.
- Ongoing drive to learn and incorporate new and emerging techniques, trends and philosophies in design, technology, interaction and social media.
- Knowing what makes for compelling work – be it on social platforms, in video, or in launch ideas that get talked about, reported on, and pointed to by other agencies with an “I wish we’d thought to do that” envy.
- Ability to work quickly, efficiently, and accurately within all required aspects of the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, After Effects and XD) as well as presentation software (PowerPoint). Understanding of print production, typography systems and layout fundamentals; any After Effects animation skills will be utilized
- Bonus skills: illustration, photography, retouching, filmmaking, videography, editorial, animation, HTML
Salary Range: $80,000 USD – $110,000 USD

What you’ll do at Figma:

- Interact with Figma customers daily via email, taking ownership over cases from start to resolution
- Partner closely with Sales teams to guide large scale organizations through complex workspace configurations, acting quickly to address technical issues and ensuring successful account setup

We'd love to hear from you if you have:
- 3+ years' experience working in a Support environment for a technical SaaS product, ideally supporting Enterprise customers
- Experience working with system administration for large end-user communities or guiding customers through complicated implementations
- Experience in evaluating business impact of technical issues to drive cross functional alignment, prioritization, and timely resolutions
- Consultative communication skills with the ability to tailor a message for your audience. You can translate complex concepts into concise explanations and summarize customer issues to technical and non-technical audiences
While not required, it’s an added plus if you also have:

Pay Transparency Disclosure

Job level and actual compensation will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process (including skills and prior relevant experience, potential impact, and scope of role), market demands, and specific work location. Vast is looking for a Principal Product Engineer, reporting to the Senior Director, Mission Software, to support the development of the systems that will be required for the design and build of artificial-gravity human-rated space stations.
This individual is responsible for the success of onboard crew applications, ground-based mission control software, and historical data review and analysis tools. This role requires strong product judgment, a high standard of craft, and excellent collaboration skills. This person will own product direction and work closely with UX and engineering partners to ensure complex problems are translated into clear, well-prioritized, and high-quality software solutions.
This will be a full-time, exempt position located in our Long Beach location.
Responsibilities:
- Own the product roadmap derived from input from users, design, and engineering.
- Remain hands-on in the codebase every day, delivering customer-facing features and infrastructure improvements across onboard crew apps, mission control, and data review tooling.
- Acquire deep understanding of user problems and goals.

What you’ll do:
- Be part of a product team and help to define, design, and deliver innovation that enables customers to deliver high-quality software faster.
- Focus your work based on the task at hand: research, strategy, ideation, information architecture, interaction design, prototyping, visual design, or usability testing.
- Work on projects that help the entire product team achieve better product experience and design consistency.
- Help build our design system alongside our Lead Product Designer.
Some of the things we’re looking for:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Product Designer for a cloud-based, B2B SaaS product
- Undergraduate degree in Human Factors, Human-Computer Interaction, User Experience, Product Design, or similar
- Strong proficiency with design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD) and an understanding of user-centered design principles
- Passionate about understanding people’s points of view and solving problems, with the ability to anchor work in user research
- Strong foundation in design, with a finger on the pulse for trends in typography, esthetics, color, imagery, and iconography
- Experience in collaborating with cross-functional squads in a hybrid setup, focusing on delivering goal-oriented solutions
- Experience with AI technology, both in the context of product innovation as well as adoption for day-to-day work
- An interest in the software development lifecycle and QA testing is a big plus!
