About the Team

Gerson Lehrman Group is seeking an Associate to support clients of the Financial Services Firm Team in Seoul. The role will support and manage research inquiries coming from our Financial Services Firm clients based in South Korea.

The  Associate in the Corporate team is responsible for driving Gerson Lehrman Group’s underlying business processes, fulfilling timely client research requests, identifying, and pitching simple to complex research methodologies suitable for the client’s requirements, and facilitating interactions between GLG’s clients and Network Members:

Key Associate Responsibilities Include

• Supporting team members on various aspects of client projects and Network Member engagement.

About the role

As an early member of our South Korea Revenue Strategy & Operations team, you'll play a hands-on role supporting revenue growth across key market segments by partnering with sales leadership to execute region-specific strategies. You'll be close to the day-to-day of the business — running the operational cadence, building the analysis, and keeping our systems and processes running smoothly as we scale in South Korea.

You'll work closely with S&O counterparts across Japan, India , Singapore, Australia, and the wider APJ region, learning from and contributing to how we operate across the region.

Go-to-Market Operations:

• Support the Go-to-Market planning process for South Korea, including quarterly and annual cycles, and help prepare inputs for target setting with Finance.

• 5 or more years of professional experience in machine learning, data science, or applied AI engineering.

• Working knowledge of voice AI technologies, including Speech-to-Text and Text-to-Speech, with the ability to evaluate solutions across quality, latency, and cost.
• Fluency in Python with a track record of building and deploying production-grade services.

• Design and optimize the full backend pipeline for our AI agents, including advanced RAG systems, function-calling tools, and core agentic capabilities.
• Lead the integration and evaluation of voice AI solutions, third-party APIs, self-hosted models, and fine-tuned alternatives, with a hard focus on latency and quality.

• Push the boundaries of agent autonomy, orchestration, and human-in-the-loop workflows with Engineering and Design.
• Lead, coach, and develop a Seoul-based PM team, setting clear expectations and raising the bar on product thinking.
• Use AI tools to accelerate your own output: automated reporting, roadmap synthesis, and cross-functional briefings that would otherwise eat your week.
• Communicate tradeoffs, risks, and opportunities clearly to the CPO and senior leadership.
• Pull real enterprise feedback into the roadmap by working directly with customer-facing teams and target account stakeholders.
• Partner with Product Marketing to build vertical-specific value propositions across global markets.
• Set the standard for product excellence and decision-making as the organization scales.

Flexible Work Policy

We offer a flexible work schedule at Sendbird.  We also value collaboration and relationship building.  With those values in mind, we require all employees to gather with their team in the office three days per week as a minimum.  Some of our roles require a more frequent in-office schedule.  Please work with your manager to understand the office time requirements for your position.
