ABOUT THE JOB:
We are looking for a Staff Software Engineer to join our QualityOS team within Forge MES (Manufacturing Execution System). As a Staff Engineer, you will set the technical direction and architectural standards. You'll architect and implement mission-critical distributed systems that scale Anduril's manufacturing operations while maintaining the technical bar for reliability, performance, and maintainability.
Your impact will span beyond the immediate team. As Commercial Counsel, Infrastructure Security for Compute and Infrastructure at Anthropic, you’ll be the day-to-day legal partner to the Chief Security Officer’s infrastructure-security and the Governance, Risk and Compliance teams. You will own the contractual and regulatory layer of physical and facility security, hardware and supply-chain security, network security, vendor personnel and insider-risk flow-downs, and security regulatory and assurance.
You’ll work in close partnership with Anthropic teammates in Frontier, Product, Litigation, Employment, and Commercial Legal, in addition to specialized outside counsel. You will serve as the primary legal owner ensuring security requirements are in the contract before signature and that external work product aligns with Anthropic’s security posture and commercial objectives.
Draft and negotiate security design-basis and site-hardening specifications in build-to-suit, lease, and colo agreements (perimeter, access control, CCTV, intrusion detection); guard-force statements of work, post orders, and KPI regimes; visitor, contractor, and badging policy; and security clauses in shared-campus and multi-tenant arrangements
Own provenance, anti-tamper, and chain-of-custody warranties in silicon, ODM, and OEM paper; trusted-supplier and country-of-origin restrictions; NDAA §889/§5949 and CHIPS-Act guardrail flow-downs; BIS/EAR advanced-computing and semiconductor export-control flow-downs and end-use/end-user certifications; firmware integrity, secure-boot, and golden-image escrow terms; secure logistics; counterfeit-part and grey-market controls; and secure decommissioning and certified media-destruction terms

You will be the technical leader for Digital Identity at SoFi: the platform group that powers identity, authorization, and entitlements for every product and every member across the company. Digital Identity runs Tier-0 infrastructure: the highest criticality rating at SoFi. Every product line, banking, lending, investing, credit cards, crypto depends on these platforms to know who a member is, what they're entitled to, and what they're authorized to do. When these platforms are down, SoFi is down.You'll define the technical strategy for this group. You'll architect solutions for complex, ambiguous problems: multi-person access patterns, cross-organizational platform convergence, and data integrity at financial-services scale.
You'll build the engineering processes and culture that let a lean team operate Tier-0 infrastructure with confidence. And you'll push the boundaries of how we build, leveraging AI to accelerate development, prototype faster, and experiment with approaches that would have been impractical two years ago.
Platform Technical Strategy: Digital Identity operates multiple Tier-0 platforms spanning identity resolution, entitlement management, and fine-grained authorization. You own the technical strategy across all of them: setting the architectural direction, executing and leading designs, and ensuring the platforms evolve as a coherent system rather than independent services.
Complex Authorization Architecture: SoFi is expanding into scenarios where multiple people interact with shared financial resources: across business, family, and custodial contexts. You'll design the unified platform architecture that handles these patterns at scale: consistent access models, compliance-grade audit trails, and enforcement of regulatory requirements. This is one platform problem with many product surfaces.
Cross-Organization Platform Convergence: SoFi operates and integrates with multiple technology organizations with overlapping identity and authorization infrastructure. You'll lead the architectural vision for convergence: a shared platform primitives that multiple organizations consume while preserving the flexibility each product line needs. This requires navigating competing priorities, different technical stacks, and organizational boundaries.
Operational Excellence & Data Integrity: Tier-0 financial platforms demand more than uptime. You'll architect the verification and reconciliation systems that prove these platforms are correct: automated integrity checks, drift detection, and self-healing mechanisms. You'll establish the operational processes, incident response standards, and reliability practices that let the team ship with confidence and sleep at night.
Engineering Culture & Team Uplift: You'll raise the bar for how this team builds software. Lead end-to-end accounting for one of Anthropic's infrastructure portfolios — network equipment, data center buildouts, and related capital assets — including monthly close, construction-in-progress (CIP) tracking, reconciliations, roll-forwards, and flux analysis
Apply technical accounting expertise to complex infrastructure arrangements under ASC 360 (capitalization, useful lives, impairment, disposals, and asset retirement obligations)
Partner with Real Estate, Legal, and Finance teams during contract negotiation and execution to ensure accounting implications are understood before commitments are made
Serve as a trusted finance partner to non-finance stakeholders — explaining the financial statement impact of their decisions in clear, simple terms they can act on
Collaborate cross-functionally to improve the quality of upstream data pipelines from operational and contract systems, particularly around asset receipt, deployment, and in-service dates
Design and scale systems, processes, and controls to support a rapidly growing fixed asset portfolio
Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals focused on your portfolio
Serve as a key point of contact with external auditors on fixed asset and capex accounting matters
Drive process improvements and automation, including leveraging AI tooling, to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting
Have 12+ years of progressive experience in accounting, with operational experience at technology or infrastructure-heavy companies
Hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities:
Build and evolve telemetry and monitoring systems to provide deep visibility into infrastructure performance, utilization, and costs across our cloud and datacenter fleets.
Design and implement cost attribution frameworks for our multi-tenant infrastructure, enabling teams to understand and optimize their resource consumption.
Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and capacity hotspots through deep analysis of distributed systems at scale.
Partner closely with cloud service providers and internal stakeholders to optimize cluster configurations, workload placement, and resource utilization across AI training and inference workloads—including large-scale clusters spanning thousands to hundreds of thousands of machines.
Develop and champion engineering practices around efficiency, driving a culture of performance awareness and cost-conscious design across Anthropic.
Collaborate with research and product teams to deeply understand their infrastructure needs, and design solutions that balance performance with cost efficiency.
Drive architectural improvements and code-level optimizations across multiple services and platforms to deliver measurable utilization and performance gains.
You may be a good fit if you:
Have 6+ years of relevant industry experience, 1+ year leading large scale, complex projects or teams as a software engineer or tech lead
Deep expertise in distributed systems at scale, with a strong focus on infrastructure reliability, scalability, and continuous improvement.
Strong proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Rust, Go, Java)
Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, including Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, and major cloud providers such as AWS or GCP.

You’ll be joining Carta’s Tax team as a US Federal tax preparer and reviewer, leveraging Carta’s proprietary tax engine to file tax returns for our clients.
Your clients are the most talented venture capitalists, fund managers and dealmakers in the world. You will help them realize their ambitions of supporting the companies of tomorrow through our next-gen investment stack (including legals, vehicle formation, banking, investor onboarding and much more).
