About you

You will own and develop multiple services across our revenue domain billing, tax calculation, customer commitment management, and AI-powered revenue operations agents. Who we're looking for

• 5+ years of professional software development experience with an object-oriented programming language
• Experience with web application development using Python (FastAPI, aiohttp, or similar).
• Experience designing and building RESTful APIs.
• Experience working with asynchronous programming
• Comfort working with PostgreSQL and relational databases at scale, including schema migrations, raw SQL queries and query optimization.
• Experience with event-driven architectures and message brokers (RabbitMQ, Kafka or similar).
• Experience in a highly available, uptime-critical production environment.
• Deep knowledge of microservice architecture patterns and anti-patterns
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Consul, GitHub Actions, Argo CD, Prometheus, or OpenTelemetry.
• Strong troubleshooting skills — you can dig through logs, query databases, trace distributed systems, and read unfamiliar code to get to the bottom of an issue.
• Comfortable owning services in production, including on-call responsibilities and incident resolution.
• Comfortable using AI coding agents as part of your investigation workflow, while knowing when to rely on your own judgement.

Our backend team is building a highly-available and distributed data pipeline that powers Telnyx products like Voice, Messaging and Wireless. We leverage the Telnyx private backbone network to build a cloud-agnostic data platform that processes thousands of messages per second.

With our lean team, we're currently running and managing more than 30 dockerized microservices deployed in multiple regions in the U.S. and Europe. We are looking for a senior Java backend engineer with deep knowledge of Java Core.

In this role you will

• Work on 30+ microservices implemented in Java 11 and Scala that process, aggregate and expose all data our telecommunication and messaging engines generate
• Improve performance of our pipeline — we currently process 10k messages/sec and are growing
• Architect our services and pipelines so they work with minimum latency in all our locations around the world (U.S., E.U., Australia, South America)

Minimum Qualifications:

About the role

• Security Control Implementation: Strong working knowledge of encryption, masking, tokenization, classification, and fine-grained access control (RBAC/ABAC).
• Advanced Analytical Skills: High proficiency in SQL and experience designing analytical data models with a focus on performance, correctness, and sensitive data handling.
• Production-Grade Programming: Proficiency in writing maintainable and testable code in at least one language, such as Python, Scala, Clojure, or Go.

Como Desenvolvedor Backend Sênior, você será responsável por liderar o desenvolvimento e a
implementação de soluções robustas e escaláveis para nossos serviços backend, garantindo alta

Estamos em busca de um(a) Desenvolvedor(a) Full Stack apaixonado(a) por tecnologia e inovação, com interesse em atuar em projetos que envolvam Inteligência Artificial. O profissional será responsável pelo desenvolvimento de aplicações web completas — frontend e backend — com integração a modelos de IA, APIs inteligentes e sistemas baseados em dados.

Responsabilidades:

• Desenvolver e manter aplicações web robustas e escaláveis, atuando no frontend e backend;

• Integrar APIs e modelos de machine learning/IA às aplicações;

• Colaborar com cientistas de dados, engenheiros de machine learning e outras áreas técnicas;

• Participar do design e arquitetura de soluções baseadas em IA;

• Garantir boas práticas de codificação, versionamento, testes e documentação;

• Explorar e aplicar soluções baseadas em IA generativa, NLP, visão computacional ou automação inteligente, conforme o projeto.

Requisitos:

• Graduação em TI ou áreas correlatas;
• Inglês avançado;

• Experiência comprovada como Desenvolvedor(a) Full Stack;

• Domínio em linguagens como Java e Springboot

• Familiaridade com bancos de dados relacionais e não relacionais;

• Disposição para aprender e trabalhar com linguagens de programação novas, especialmente linguagens antigas (COBOL, Natural Adabas, PL1, ...)

• Capacidade de trabalhar em equipe, com perfil colaborativo e proatividade para aprender novas tecnologias.

Estamos em busca de um Desenvolvedor Java Backend Júnior para integrar nosso time de tecnologia! Procuramos alguém com vontade de aprender, proatividade e paixão por desenvolvimento de software. Você atuará no desenvolvimento e manutenção de APIs, integração de sistemas e suporte a aplicações backend em ambiente colaborativo e dinâmico.

Responsabilidades:

• Desenvolver e manter APIs RESTful utilizando Java e Spring Boot;
• Auxiliar na modelagem e otimização de banco de dados relacionais e não-relacionais;
• Participar de revisões de código e cerimônias ágeis (Scrum/Kanban);
• Identificar e corrigir bugs e gargalos de performance;
• Contribuir com documentação técnica e testes automatizados.

Requisitos:

• Conhecimento básico em Java 8+;
• Familiaridade com o ecossistema Spring (Spring Boot, Spring Data, etc.);
• Experiência com bancos de dados relacionais (ex: MySQL, PostgreSQL);
• Noções de versionamento com Git;
• Interesse em práticas ágeis e CI/CD.
• Graduação em TI ou áreas correlatas. ( concluído ou cursando)

Diferenciais:

• Projetos pessoais ou GitHub ativo;
• Conhecimento básico em mensageria (RabbitMQ, Kafka);
• Experiência com Docker e APIs RESTful;
• Conhecimento básico em nuvem (AWS, Azure ou GCP).
