We're hiring a Software Engineer for our Infrastructure team — the backbone of everything Topsort runs on. This is not a supporting role. Infrastructure at Topsort is a first-class, mission-critical function. You'll be building and owning the systems that power our real-time auction engine, API platform, and internal developer tooling — at a scale and reliability standard that leaves no room for sloppiness. We need someone who treats production like it matters, because it does.

What You'll Do

• Own the platform - Design, build, and maintain the foundational infrastructure that every Topsort product and engineering team depends on, from compute and networking to deployment and observability.
• Raise reliability - Define and enforce SLOs, build alerting systems that catch issues before customers do, and lead postmortems that actually prevent recurrence.
• Make deployments boring - Build CI/CD pipelines and deployment systems that are so reliable they're invisible. Automate the toil out of every release.

What We Think You Need to Be Successful

• Bachelor's in Computer Science, engineering or a related field from top schools

Build out  a cloud‑native team that owns the entire software delivery life cycle on Amazon Web Services. You will combine deep Kubernetes expertise with Python and shell scripting to automate, monitor, and continuously improve the Linqia platform while driving FinOps practices to keep our cloud footprint efficient. Work in a GitOps culture where every change is delivered through pull requests and rolled out by automated pipelines.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Build out  a cloud‑native team that owns the entire software delivery life cycle on Amazon Web Services. You will combine deep Kubernetes expertise with Python and shell scripting to automate, monitor, and continuously improve the Linqia platform while driving FinOps practices to keep our cloud footprint efficient. Work in a GitOps culture where every change is delivered through pull requests and rolled out by automated pipelines.

Based from our Huechuraba office, pre-sales engineers provide guidance in the use of InterSystems' products as they best suit the requirements of our customer and their market. You will partner with our Country Sales Manager on product and business strategies to apply existing and new products to customers' database and application needs. You will face wide-ranging challenges, requiring a mixture of design skills, hands-on coding, presentation skills, technical architecture, sales awareness, business acumen, evangelism, mentoring and training. You may be requested to travel occasionally around Latin America or to attend international meetings and trainings.

Responsibilities 

• Investigate & demonstrate the use of InterSystems products with other 3rd party technologies.
• Manage the technical relationship with customer accounts, ensuring that they are aware of the latest capabilities
• Identify new opportunities within existing accounts.

Qualifications 

Essential 

• Proven experience working with customers on complex challenges, combined with the ability to coordinate or mentor internal teams. Demonstrated capability and motivation to take on increasing management and stakeholder‑facing responsibilities in a dynamic environment.

• Ongoing experience within the design, development & deployment of complex applications.

• Knowledge of competing application frameworks and application servers such as .NET, Python, NodeJS, Javascript, PHP, Django o J2ee. Practical experience with at least one of them.  

• Knowledge of Software development processes such as XP, RAD, RUP or DSDM.  

• Extensive use of 1 or more databases such as Caché, Oracle, SQLServer, Sybase, Informix or DB2/UDB, including designing logical and physical database schema, good SQL and JDBC/ODBC expertise, installation and configuration skills, and performance tuning.
