Your next role as a Miracle Maker
Maravai LifeSciences is seeking a #MiracleMaker to join our engineering team as a Senior Facilities Engineer. As a Senior Facilities Engineer, you will responsible for the technical oversight, reliability, compliance, and continuous improvement of facility infrastructure, laboratory systems, and critical utilities supporting R&D, Manufacturing, and Quality Control operations. This role serves as the subject matter expert for building systems, environmental controls, maintenance strategy, and regulatory compliance within a regulated life sciences environment. The Senior Facilities Engineer ensures facility readiness, safety, and business continuity through proactive maintenance programs, engineering problem solving, vendor management, and cross functional collaboration to support operational performance and regulatory standards.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $100,000 - $120,000. As a key early hire in our Certification Organization, you will help define and execute the certification strategy for our emerging unmanned cargo aircraft. This is a hands-on role where you will support certification planning, compliance definition, and regulatory engagement across multiple aircraft systems. Overview
Engineers apply the theories and principles of science and mathematics to research and develop economical solutions to technical problems. Their work is the link between perceived social needs and commercial applications. Engineers design products and machinery, implement improved ways to extract, process, and use raw materials, such as petroleum and natural gas, and develop new materials that both improve the performance of products and take advantage of advances in technology. Engineers analyze the impact of the products they develop or the systems they design on the environment and on the people using them. In addition to design and development, many engineers work in testing, production, or maintenance by supervising production in factories, determining the causes of breakdowns, and testing manufactured products to maintain quality. They also estimate the time and cost to complete projects.
