What you’ll be working on:

• Treating patients via tele-health visits, including telephonic triage calls, video visit appointments, and email follow-ups
• Continuous learning during weekly Clinical Rounds and through other modalities
• Ongoing collaboration with both virtual and in-office teammates via daily huddles
• Utilization of your specific clinical training and opportunities to give exceptional care to patients virtually
• Willing to obtain additional state licensure and credentialing for One Medical virtual primary care in additional states

Education, licenses, and experiences required for this role:

• Completion of master’s degree in an accredited Physician Assistant program (MSPAS)  and is maintaining active NCCPA certification
• In the past 5 years, practiced as an Advanced Practitioner for at least:
• 2 years in an outpatient primary care setting seeing patients of all ages (0+), OR 2 years in an urgent care or emergency medicine setting seeing patients of all ages (0+) 
• Currently licensed in CA or AZ with ability to obtain additional state licenses
• Ability to work weekday and weekend shifts (every other Saturday AND or Sunday required)
• Current shifts range from (6am - 12am PST)
• Excellent clinical and communication skills

WHAT YOU’LL DO 

• Answer medical questions over the phone 
• See patients right away as part of the VEG Triage and VEG Spikes, our unique, customer-centered way of doing things—like ensuring people see a doctor right away and allowing families to stay with their pets 
• Gather the signalment, presenting complaint, vitals, and physical exam 
• Conduct physical examinations of animals, along with other required investigatory measures such as ultrasounds, X-rays, bloodwork, and biopsies 
• Complete a diagnosis of each pet's condition to create a diagnostic and therapeutic plan
• Communicate diagnosis and treatment options directly with customers
• Prepare estimates and present them to customers
• Create and review medical records to ensure accuracy
• Demonstrate the value of tests and treatments performed by speaking with the customer and addressing their concerns
• Perform minor and major emergency surgeries
• Perform endoscopic procedures
• Educate customers on after care and preventative measures where appropriate 

WHAT YOU NEED

• A DVM or equivalent degree
• Live and breathe emergency medicine, including emergency surgery (the soft tissue kind!) and endoscopy
• Thrive in team-oriented environments (think hospital retreats, team dinners, happy hours, and more)
• Ability to stand for prolonged hours, kneel, and work on the floor as well as ability to lift up to 25 kg on own and able to support up to 40 kg with assistance

THE JOB

As a Sonographer, your focus is on ultrasound support for VEG hospitals and training facilities. This means working closely with our emergency doctors to provide same-day ultrasound scans for pets when they need it most. You’ll deal with a variety of patient types and scans, so being comfortable adapting to new scenarios and willing to learn new techniques and think outside the box are all part of your day-to-day. You’ll also assist in coordinating education opportunities and overall ultrasound training for your home and regional hospitals, inspire and motivate your fellow VEGgies to grow their ultrasound skills, and be ready to pitch in at the hospital whenever and wherever needed.

WHAT YOU’LL DO 

• Perform ultrasound studies and facilitate ultrasound training at your home hospital and regional hospitals
• Maintain good relationships with and accept feedback from teleconsultation radiologists reading your studies (e.g., Antech, SonoPath, IDEXX, VetsChoice, etc.)
• Ensure all training content and activities are in alignment with VEG culture, mission, and vision, and represent accurate, up-to-date sonographic techniques
• Track doctor and nursing team skills with a VEG Ultrasound Certificate checklist
• Engage in self-reflection and program evaluation practices to modify and enhance VEG’s ultrasound training programs
• Regularly meet with the medical directors, nursing trainer, and director of radiology education to discuss program development, training objectives, and additional needs
• Regularly meet with the hospital manager and medical director to discuss implementation of new training protocols, training schedules, hospital training needs, and team concerns
• Coordinate weekly schedule to work on the floor shifts with the hospital manager and medical director and devote time to training responsibilities
• May assist in developing ultrasound curriculum material, such as PowerPoints, videos, simulations, and assessments to be implemented across the doctor and nursing team training programs
• May provide educational demonstrations for doctors and nurses at other VEGs, including ultrasound topics, such as abdominal, thoracic, cardiac, cervical, and musculoskeletal studies 

WHAT YOU NEED

• Credentialed as a Veterinary Technician (LVT/CVT/RVT/LVMT), diagnostic medical sonographer (RDMS), and/or equivalent experience (e.g., sonographer course certificates)
• 3+ years veterinary ultrasound experience
• Previous training experience and the patience to teach and develop doctors, nurses, and fellow sonographers

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized candidate for a Sr. Manager, Land Acquisition position. The successful candidate will demonstrate sound industry knowledge, superior communication and negotiation capability, and detail-oriented contract analysis and organizational skills. This role reports to the VP, Land Development. The land team is a highly talented, hard-working, dynamic group with extensive legacy knowledge in the renewable energy industry. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Lead negotiations for real estate contracts underlying Avantus’ portfolio of solar and storage projects.
• Lead due diligence tracking and project status reporting for one of the largest development pipelines in the industry.
• Assist with new market and site analysis including investigation of land development criteria and land ownership.
• Assist with review, resolution, and reporting of title matters to support financing of projects, including vesting, mineral rights, liens, taxes, and other critical matters
• Coordinate efforts among landowners, attorneys, surveyors, utilities, title companies, and other key project stakeholders.
• Assist with drafting, abstraction, and execution of agreements including purchase and lease agreements, amendments, easements, crossing agreements, estoppels, subordination agreements, affidavits, etc.
• Preparation of land project budgets and upkeep of other various spreadsheets in connection with cost projections, including option payment spreadsheets.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree, preference give to candidates with Juris Doctor.

Responsibilities

Compensation Package 

• The base salary for this position ranges from $160,000-$190,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications
• Attorneys are eligible for an annual billable hours bonus ranging from $10,000 and then aggregating with $7,500 for every additional tier

Position Summary

The Director of Drug Safety & Pharmacovigilance is a medical safety expert within the Drug Safety & Pharmacovigilance (PV) function, reporting to the Executive Director of Medical Safety. This role serves as the primary medical safety resource for assigned products across the Acadia portfolio, providing hands-on medical evaluation of safety data, signal detection and assessment, and clinical oversight of pharmacovigilance activities throughout the product lifecycle. The Director contributes product-level medical input to cross-functional safety governance, collaborates with the Executive Director of Medical Safety on complex or escalated safety issues, and supports regulatory submissions and health authority interactions for assigned products. 

Primary Responsibilities

• Serves as the primary medical safety resource for assigned Acadia products, providing product-level clinical safety and pharmacovigilance expertise across all stages of development and post-marketing surveillance
• Performs medical evaluation and interpretation of aggregate safety data for assigned products, including signal detection and evaluation, ad hoc safety assessments, and benefit-risk analyses; escalates complex or novel safety issues appropriately
• Assesses safety signals and trends for assigned products and proactively manages potential safety issues in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders
• Contributes product-level medical input to the Medical Safety team and other cross-functional safety governance bodies
• Performs medical review of all serious adverse events from Acadia clinical trials for assigned products
• Performs retrospective medical review of adverse events for post-marketed products
• Authors Analysis of Similar Events (AOSE) and individual case narratives and comments for ICSRs for assigned products
• Provides oversight for the safety aspects of clinical studies for assigned products, including development and maintenance of product-specific core safety information

Education/Experience/Skills

• MD (Doctor of Medicine) or equivalent medical degree from an accredited institution, with relevant postgraduate clinical training and experience; candidates who are eligible for U.S. medical board certification are preferred. MPH or pharmacoepidemiology training is a plus. 
• 6 to 7 years of relevant drug safety experience, including expertise in safety signal management (signal detection, evaluation, aggregate data review, ICSRs), preferably in a pharmaceutical or biotech environment.  
• Neurology, psychiatry, rare disease, or CNS-related therapeutic area experience strongly preferred
• Advanced knowledge of FDA, EU, and ICH regulations and guidelines related to pharmacovigilance, including clinical trial safety monitoring, post-marketing surveillance, ICSR processing, aggregate reporting, and health authority reporting requirements
• Ability to assess product benefit-risk profiles and interpret clinical and post-market safety data

Position Summary: 

Reporting to the CMO, the VP Global Pharmacovigilance has overall responsibility for drug safety activities for early and late phase assets, including furthering the development and implementation of the clinical development strategy. The VP will be accountable for overseeing safety and pharmacovigilance across development and expected global launches and, ultimately, post-marketed products. The VP must possess a strong knowledge of global pharmacovigilance regulations, operational efficiencies, information systems, and best industry practices to effectively solve challenges and facilitate PVG compliance.

Note this position can be hybrid in our San Diego or South San Francisco locations or fully remote anywhere in the United States.   

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide Safety Science leadership for clinical development programs and program teams and integrate safety science strategy with clinical development.
• Represent GPV in communication with health and regulatory authorities.
• Represent GPV at independent Data Safety Monitoring Committee meetings.
• Provide medical oversight of the GPV function including medical review of all cases.
• Provide medical input for maintaining REMS, RMP safety monitoring commitments.
• In collaboration with other members of GPV, create and maintain a signal detection process for Erasca’s products with a clearly defined signal detection strategy for each asset.
• In collaboration with other members of GPV, ensure robust processes are implemented to meet REMS/RMP commitments.
• Overall responsibility for development and implementation of QPV, in collaboration with Quality and GPV Systems.
• Provide periodic benefit-risk assessment reports for internal use.
• Contribute to the preparation of, review, and approve aggregate safety reports required by health authorities.

• Build and lead highly functioning GPV team including Safety Operations and Safety Science, utilizing internal and external resources.

• Assess process, systems, and staffing needs to scale for multiple late-stage trials, including oversight of CROs and vendors.
• Develop and maintain relationships across Erasca, particularly in Clinical Development, Clinical Operations, Biometrics, and Regulatory Affairs.

Required Education and Experience:

• Doctor of Medicine or x-US equivalent with industry experience in safety science for oncology clinical development required; PharmD or other relevant clinical degree may be considered.
• 12 or more years of experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry with knowledge of GCP, clinical trial conduct, data interpretation, and safety in clinical development. A mix of large and small company experience highly preferred.
• Excellent scientific and clinical and analytical knowledge base, with the ability to assess data and understand safety and medical implications.
• In-depth knowledge of clinical research, including FDA and international regulations, clinical study design, and documentation.
• Experience with early clinical development required; experience in late-stage clinical development and NDA or BLA submission preferred.
• Extensive experience interfacing with US (FDA) and x-US health authorities required. Experience executing clinical trials in China, reporting safety data to China health authorities preferred.
• In depth knowledge of Safety Science and Safety Operations disciplines, with exposure to both internally and externally managed safety systems and databases.
• Direct management experience with proven ability to effectively lead, coach, mentor, and manage others.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $370,000 to $390,000. In addition to base salary, the hired applicant will be eligible to receive an annual bonus and an equity grant at hire and annually in the form of the option to purchase stock in the future for a specified price.
