Joining Collibra’s Global Tax Team, you will join a forward-thinking Global Tax team dedicated to scaling our financial infrastructure as we grow internationally. Reporting to the Tax Director, your primary focus will be the daily execution and management of our global indirect tax function. 

You will be the hands-on owner of our US Sales and Use Tax (SUT) filings while acting as the internal lead for our international compliance cycle in coordination with external providers. A critical component of this role is digital transformation; you will lead the implementation of an automated solution for US SUT return preparation and filing, while exploring and evaluating long-term automation options for our global footprint .You will contribute to the overall efficiency of the department by assisting with direct tax reporting, filings, and various workflows, especially during busy periods.

Senior Tax Analysts Are Responsible For

• Execute US Indirect Tax Compliance: Lead the end-to-end in-house preparation and filing of US Sales and Use Tax returns, ensuring accuracy and timely remittance across all nexus jurisdictions.
• Manage International Compliance: Serve as the primary internal lead for global VAT/GST filings, coordinating data flow and performing detailed reviews of returns prepared by our external service providers.
• Lead US Tax Automation: Act as the project lead for the implementation of an automated solution for US SUT return preparation and filing, transitioning current manual workflows into a scalable, tech-enabled process.
• Strategize Global Automation: Explore and evaluate software and managed service options for global indirect tax automation to support Collibra's continued international expansion.
• Coordinate Data Flow from NetSuite: Gather, validate, and reconcile monthly transaction data to ensure internal filings and external partner workpapers are based on a "single source of truth."
• Own Monthly Indirect Tax Accounting: Prepare journal entries, maintain detailed support for tax accruals, and perform monthly reconciliations of all global indirect tax accounts and systems.
• Support Direct Tax Workflows: Assist the Senior Tax Manager and Tax Manager in managing global direct tax compliance in accordance with local regulations. Assist in the preparation of the necessary data for the annual income tax provision calculations (US GAAP, IFRS, and local GAAPs for official statutory reporting).

You have

• 4+ years of indirect and direct tax experience with a public accounting firm and/or corporate tax department.
• Hands-on experience preparing and filing US Sales and Use Tax returns.
• Technical knowledge of global VAT/GST systems, specifically within a SaaS environment.
• Proficiency in NetSuite or other ERP’s, plus a strong understanding of how financial data flows from an ERP into tax reporting workpapers.
• Hands-on experience with indirect tax technology tools such as Avalara or Vertex.
• Exposure to tax automation implementation or a strong interest in leading the technology transition from manual to automated filing solutions.
• Broad-based understanding of tax and accounting fundamentals, including exposure to annual income tax provisions and global direct tax compliance.
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience with agentic AI is a plus 
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA or advanced degree preferred.

Measures of Success

Within your first month: You will have established a working rhythm with the Tax team members, taken over the day-to-day coordination of data for our outside service providers, and successfully managed your first in-house US SUT filing cycle.

Within your first three months: You will have completed a review of all current manual processes within the indirect tax function, presented a roadmap for automation, and begun assisting the Tax Manager and Tax Senior Manager with direct tax return filings.

Within your first six months: You will have successfully led the implementation of an automated US SUT filing solution, begun implementing other global solutions identified in the automation roadmap, and supported the preparation of the annual multi-GAAP direct tax provisions.

Compensation for this role

The standard base salary range for this position is $88,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year. This position is not eligible for additional commission-based compensation. Salary offers are based on a combination of factors, including, but not limited to, experience, skills, and location.

As the Sr Manager of Finance Data & Analytics, you lead the engine room that powers our strategic decision-making. Your success is defined by the winning combination of partnering your team’s technical data expertise with the business context of our other Finance functions to maximize insights for the executive team. You are responsible for delivering data analytics and the high-confidence Analyst-Ready Data Layer, ensuring our organization executes on insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Analysis & Insights: Lead high-impact, cross-functional analyses to uncover the why behind business results, identifying hidden trends and providing strategic recommendations across both top-line growth and expense management.
• Predictive Analytics: Develop and refine early warning indicators that signal structural risks or opportunities in the long-term outlook before they hit the P&L.
• Executive Decision Support: Synthesize complex data analytics into clear, actionable narratives for the CEO, CFO, and PE partners, acting as a strategic advisor to the VP of Finance & Strategy.
• Partnerships & Insights: Actively partner with the Finance & Strategy team on high-priority projects, combining deep data mining with functional business context to deliver more impactful insights.
• Analyst-Ready Data Layer: Build and govern a dedicated business data layer, utilizing both structured warehouse schemas and agile ad-hoc tables, to provide a foundational data layer that eliminates manual data prep, allowing every analyst to work efficiently.
• Connected Planning:  Oversee the integrated architecture of our planning environment (Pigment), ensuring that functional models remain synchronized without sacrificing the autonomy of individual teams.
• Finance AI & Innovation Roadmap: Act as the Finance lead for emerging AI/ML technologies in the finance space; evaluate and pilot AI-driven concepts to enhance forecasting capabilities, automate data anomaly detection, and streamline the Analyst-Ready data layer as the technology matures.

The Profile

What You'll Do

We are seeking a Lead Actuarial Analyst, MA Risk Adjustment to join our high-performing, insights-driven team. You will play a critical role in evaluating financial performance, uncovering areas of opportunity, and use your 3+ actuarial exam progress to help translate complex data into actionable strategies. Your work will directly influence how Strive supports patients, clinicians, and markets in achieving both clinical and financial success. (This position is internally titled Lead Analyst, Risk Adjustment Analytics).

Essential Functions 

• Translate RA performance data into clear financial insights (i.e. revenue impact, payment accuracy, ROI, forecasting). 
• Analyze CMS data to identify areas of opportunity to increase operational efficiency. 
• Interpret trends, model scenarios, and assess program and policy impacts. 
• Enable data-driven decisions by linking operational performance to enterprise financial outcomes. 
• Perform end-to-end reconciliation from submissions to CMS acceptance, RAF leakage, and implement controls. 
• Develop business cases to assess opportunity, determine target metrics, and provide data driven insights to support investment decisions (i.e. staffing, tech, etc.). 
• Prepare and deliver clear and concise reports, presentations, and recommendations to senior leadership, illustrating the findings and implications of analyses conducted.

• 3+ actuarial exams passed. 
• High degree of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SQL.  
• Experience with PBI, Redshift, dbt docs is a plus. 
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or health-related field (e.g., Economics, Public Health, Statistics, Health Services Research, Math, Finance). 

Annual Salary Range: $99,000 - $124,000. This position is also eligible for a target annual bonus of 10%

What You'll Do:

• Runs the monthly billing cycle utilizing multiple billing platforms and resources, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of customer invoices. Responsible for analyzing telecom contracts, invoices, and various billing reports assisting with internal customer inquiries confirming the validity and accuracy of associated billing, and making billing adjustments as necessary.
• Supports internal teams and global customers by generating manual invoices and custom invoice lines as needed. Acts as a key resource for resolving non-standard billing requests, ensuring accuracy and consistent service for complex international accounts.
• Conducts monthly audits across multiple billing platforms to verify the accuracy of records and ensure SOX compliance. Collaborates with internal and external auditors to identify and remediate potential material weaknesses, maintains required documentation, and presents walkthroughs to validate the reliability of manual and automated billing processes.
• Responsible for resolving unexpected challenges in a limited amount of time. Analyzing large data sets provided by internal teams to validate/resolve existing issues and integrating processes to make reviewing data more efficient.  Working with the internal teams to ensure that they have completed the necessary steps to resolve any errors found by the analyst ahead of the following billing cycle.
• Works closely with Finance to support monthly revenue close cycle within established deadlines. Performing regular testing to ensure new solutions/systems enhancements are adequately tested to minimize material impacts on Bandwidth’s revenue stream.
• Acts as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for product offerings, maintaining strong partnerships with key product teams to oversee the billing lifecycle of new services, from initial SKU creation to final invoice delivery. Proactively participates in the SKU creation process, collaborating with product owners and leadership to advocate for billing feasibility and ensure all new products and services meet our billing requirements.  
• Foster relationships with key billing partners such as Billing Dev Ops, Netsuite Team, and other internal stakeholders; establish strong partnerships to effectively communicate status, define critical issues & impacts, design mitigation plans and help articulate/drive required decisions.
• Leads billing cycle stakeholder meetings, prepares, and sends out necessary information ahead of the meetings. Attends department meetings and document meeting notes to inform the team and absent stakeholders.
• Prepare and execute the monthly Revenue Share process while working closely with the Carrier team and acting as the liaison between internal teams and the Revenue Share customer.
• Functions as a cross-trained resource providing critical backup support for the Billing Configuration Specialist and Business and Revenue Assurance Data Analyst. Actively assists with departmental projects and ensures operational continuity by covering key responsibilities during team absences.
• Knowledge of Bandwidth contracts including service order forms and rate sheets, to determine the different process flows based on the product and the pricing scheme used.
• Research discrepancies within contracts and maintain open communication with Sales Support and others in the Sales organization, to clarify all details and intent of all Onboarding cases.
• Ensure all contracted rates are entered into billing accounts correctly to prevent downstream impacts such as billing disputes and issuing of large credits on customer accounts including new customer and existing customer rate changes.
• Process and complete all Onboarding cases within 2-day SLA, while maintaining at least a 98% level of accuracy.
• Ensures accuracy by demonstrating command and knowledge of billing processes and procedures, to certify rates are implemented and made effective on the correct dates.
• Conducts training and knowledge transfer to other Cycle & Revenue Assurance team members

Working Conditions:

• Works in a normal office environment with occasional travel required.
• Weekend, holiday, and night work may be required based on billing cycles and month end close.
