About the Role

Octave is seeking to partner with existing group practices in the Raleigh and Durham areas that want to provide excellent mental health care, both in-person and virtually. As an Octave partner, your team will join a supportive community of clinicians focused on client-centered, evidence-based therapy. 

At Octave, we take care of all backend operations so your clinicians can focus on providing care. Our team manages credentialing, billing, marketing, technology support, and client referrals. This allows your clinicians to focus primarily on seeing the clients we connect them with and completing session documentation, removing the administrative burden from your group practice.

Your providers will support adult clients managing stress, anxiety, depression, and related concerns. We emphasize evidence based practices such as CBT and DBT with a strong commitment to culturally responsive care. 

What You’ll Do

• Provide therapy to adults dealing with stress, anxiety, depression, and other concerns.
• Use short-term, evidence-based approaches like CBT or DBT.
• Offer culturally responsive care.
• See clients virtually and/or in person (you must have your own office space to hold in-person sessions).

Qualifications for Group Practices

• Must have at least 3 or more fully licensed clinicians who would be joining Octave.
• Required to have your own office space and are willing to provide in-person services.
• All clinicians must be fully licensed (no associate or intern level providers).
• Licensed in North Carolina (PsyD, LCSW, LMFT, LCMHC).
• Must be licensed and in good standing with your governing licensing board.
• At least 1 year of post-license experience (2+ preferred).
• Training in therapies such as CBT, DBT, trauma-focused treatments, or similar.
• Certain payor relationships may exclude you from employment.
• Master’s Degree or higher from an accredited school of Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or Marriage, or Family and Child Counseling.

Compensation

Starting pay for qualified applicants will depend on a combination of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected salary range for this role is set forth below and this range may be modified in the future.

The hourly compensation range for this role is listed below dependent on licensure:

• In-Person Rates:
  $63-$118/hour for master's level license.
  $73-$123/hour for doctoral-level license.

  Virtual Rates:
  $60-$115/hour for master's level license.

Octave is hiring Licensed Clinicians to work within an organizational structure to provide high-quality behavioral health care to our clients. Octave Clinicians will join a diverse clinical team in providing therapy in a collaborative, client-centered, evolving environment. Octave Clinicians demonstrate strong clinical service thinking, informed by evidence-informed therapies. It is our effort to drive quality access and customize mental health treatment plans and service delivery for our clients. You will treat adult clients with stress, depression, anxiety, or other mental health concerns via video, using short-term, evidence-based therapies. Candidates must be licensed in North Carolina at the master's or doctoral level, well-versed in evidence-based therapies, like CBT or DBT, and an expert in the delivery of culturally responsive care.

We are seeking out Licensed Clinicians who are willing to work both in-person and remotely, but an office space is required to start. As a Clinician with Octave, you will be able to build out a caseload that gives your clients the option to see you virtually or in-person. It is required that you already have a commercial clinical space that you can operate from to see clients in person through Octave. At this time, we are not providing an office space within the state of North Carolina. You can see clients in person from your home office or commercial office setting.

What You'll Do

We are seeking a Lead Actuarial Analyst, MA Risk Adjustment to join our high-performing, insights-driven team. You will play a critical role in evaluating financial performance, uncovering areas of opportunity, and use your 3+ actuarial exam progress to help translate complex data into actionable strategies. Your work will directly influence how Strive supports patients, clinicians, and markets in achieving both clinical and financial success. (This position is internally titled Lead Analyst, Risk Adjustment Analytics).

Essential Functions 

• Translate RA performance data into clear financial insights (i.e. revenue impact, payment accuracy, ROI, forecasting). 
• Analyze CMS data to identify areas of opportunity to increase operational efficiency.

You'll also be responsible for ingesting data from a wide variety of sources—APIs, files, databases, and licensed third-party datasets—and transforming it into clean, analytics-ready assets using modern data tooling.

This is a foundational engineering role for someone who takes pride in building things right: reliable pipelines, well-structured data models, and systems that others can trust and build on. In this role, you'll be partnering closely with our Data Science team not only to model and transform data, but also to actively analyze it: answering research questions, generating evidence, and supporting scientific decision-making across our drug portfolio.

This position sits at the intersection of healthcare data engineering, real-world evidence analysis, and generative AI. While a strong foundation in building reliable, scalable pipelines is essential, you'll be equally expected to roll up your sleeves and work directly with the data—constructing cohorts, running analyses, and translating findings into actionable insights for scientific and business stakeholders.

The ideal candidate is a hybrid of data engineer and applied scientist: someone who can build the infrastructure and then use it, with familiarity in RWD study design, GenAI fluency (e.g., LLM-based entity extraction, summarization, classification), and strong technical expertise with modern data tooling. You'll play a key role in shaping how real-world patient data becomes discoverable, structured, and impactful across the organization.

• You're fluent in SQL and Python, and you've built and maintained production-grade pipelines that support analytics or scientific workflows.
