About the Job

As the Sr Manager of Finance Data & Analytics, you lead the engine room that powers our strategic decision-making. Your success is defined by the winning combination of partnering your team’s technical data expertise with the business context of our other Finance functions to maximize insights for the executive team. You are responsible for delivering data analytics and the high-confidence Analyst-Ready Data Layer, ensuring our organization executes on insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Analysis & Insights: Lead high-impact, cross-functional analyses to uncover the why behind business results, identifying hidden trends and providing strategic recommendations across both top-line growth and expense management.
• Predictive Analytics: Develop and refine early warning indicators that signal structural risks or opportunities in the long-term outlook before they hit the P&L.
• Executive Decision Support: Synthesize complex data analytics into clear, actionable narratives for the CEO, CFO, and PE partners, acting as a strategic advisor to the VP of Finance & Strategy.
• Partnerships & Insights: Actively partner with the Finance & Strategy team on high-priority projects, combining deep data mining with functional business context to deliver more impactful insights.
• Analyst-Ready Data Layer: Build and govern a dedicated business data layer, utilizing both structured warehouse schemas and agile ad-hoc tables, to provide a foundational data layer that eliminates manual data prep, allowing every analyst to work efficiently.
• Connected Planning:  Oversee the integrated architecture of our planning environment (Pigment), ensuring that functional models remain synchronized without sacrificing the autonomy of individual teams.
• Finance AI & Innovation Roadmap: Act as the Finance lead for emerging AI/ML technologies in the finance space; evaluate and pilot AI-driven concepts to enhance forecasting capabilities, automate data anomaly detection, and streamline the Analyst-Ready data layer as the technology matures.

The Profile

• Strategic Partner: 8–10+ years in Finance or Analytics at a $100M+ SaaS company, with a mastery of recurring revenue economics, customer lifecycles, and the data structures required to model complex subscription metrics.
• Bridge Builder: Exceptional at communicating technical data concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Technological Curiosity: A forward-thinking mindset regarding the evolution of technology and Finance; you have a pulse on how Generative AI and Machine Learning are transforming data analysis and can pragmatically apply these tools to solve business problems.

• Advanced SQL & Solution Design: High proficiency in advanced SQL for complex data manipulation to ensure a robust business data layer. 
• Data Governance & Quality:  Proven ability to implement data hygiene protocols and traceability in the transformation layer to guarantee that financial outputs are valid and audit-ready.
• DWH Partnership: Deep experience partnering with Data Engineering and Data Warehouse teams to influence data ingestion priorities and schema designs that support scalable financial modeling.

Analytical Storytelling: Expert at using tools like Tableau to turn the engineered data layer into compelling narratives for leadership.

Summary:

We are looking for an Accountant to work at the CaptiveAire corporate office in Raleigh. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this role involves maintaining and managing financial operations to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise day-to-day accounts payable and cash receipts processes.
• Conduct month-end and year-end closures and prepare journal entries and financial statements.
• Coordinate and manage the annual budget process and prepare monthly budget reporting.
• Develop and maintain accounting controls.

Qualifications:

• BS in Accounting required.
• 3-5 years of work experience.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to learn quickly and work independently with minimal oversight.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word and Excel; strong spreadsheet skills.

Data, Integration & Performance Enablement 

• Partner with finance, technology, and data teams to improve data mapping, integrations, and financial data flows across source systems 

• Translate business and finance requirements into scalable performance management and business solutions 

• Ensure consistency of definitions, metrics, and hierarchies across planning, reporting, and analytics 

• Support post-merger or transformation environments where financial integration and performance alignment are critical 

Target Operating Model (TOM) Leadership 

• Lead or support Target Operating Model design and implementation for finance and performance management functions 

• Assess current-state capabilities across people, process, technology, governance, and data 

• Define future-state operating models aligned to strategy, scale, and regulatory expectations 

• Drive execution through detailed roadmaps, change management, and stakeholder engagement 

Leadership & Client / Stakeholder Engagement 

• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior executives and finance leadership, including CFO organizations

 Your Experience 

Minimum Qualifications 

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related discipline 

• 10+ years of progressive experience in finance, FP&A, corporate planning, or finance transformation with at least 2 years of client-facing experience in a professional services organization 

• Deep industry experience in Insurance and/or Banking, with a strong understanding of industry economics, products, and regulatory environments 

• Demonstrated expertise in:

THE TEAM – ENTERPRISE PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT

Your Impact

• As a Senior Consultant, you will be client-facing, responsible for translating clients’ business requirements into specific systems, applications or process designs for a variety of simple to complex CPM solutions and integrating architecture.
• Support the CPM practice in deal shaping, which includes discovery, demonstrations, and analysis.
• Translate clients’ processes and requirements into a CPM solution, including systems integrations and recommended ‘best of breed’ solutions.
• Prepare clients to use the OneStream solution by analyzing business and operations changes, defining and delivering training, and executing testing plans.

• 2+ years of implementation experience with OneStream XF within professional services or industry.
• Close Consolidation and Budgeting process experience.

• Prior implementation experience with Hyperion and/or Host Analytics within professional services or industry.

What you’ll do:

You will own Relay’s financial model and the planning infrastructure that collectively inform, guide, and support decision-making across the company. As a hands-on leader, you will:

• Architect and continually advance the financial model to be a strategic tool capable of real-time decision support and proactive scenario planning. This means dialing in on the various critical drivers of our business and developing a deep understanding of how these variables change and impact our P&L.
• Drive the continuous improvement of FP&A planning infrastructure - think systems, tools, processes - to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.  
• Spearhead AI Strategy and Automation into the finance stack to automate routine reporting, streamline and unify disparate data sources, automate manual data orchestration, assist in financial modeling, enhance predictive forecasting accuracy, and identify real-time anomalies in business performance.  
• Own and establish rigor around our monthly and quarterly forecasting with clear variance analysis and action-oriented insights to improve forecasting methodologies and/or business performance.  Extreme ownership and excellence in forecasting are critical to accurately inform expectations for our board, investors, and operating plan.  
• Lead the development and execution of the company’s financial planning process, which means owning the annual operating plan (budget) process end-to-end in close partnership with the senior lead team and ultimately developing a mid-term and long-range plan.
• As a strategic finance leader, you will drive enterprise value-maximizing strategies, evaluate and recommend optimizing our business model (Hardware as a Service), and ultimately develop a mid-term and long-range plan.    
• Manage complex department budgets and headcount planning in close collaboration with cross-functional and go-to-market teams to ensure alignment against plan and efficient scaling. Ultimately, recommend cost-optimization opportunities.   
• Own company-wide KPIs and dashboards. Design and deliver monthly and quarterly business reviews with senior leadership.
• Develop board materials and investor materials, including preparing and presenting diligence materials within fundraising and diligence workstreams. 
• Scale, mentor, and develop a high-performing, world-class FP&A team.  You will exponentially increase engagement and opportunities to serve through interaction with cross-functional leaders.

What you’ll bring:

• Financial acumen: You have 10+ years of progressive experience, with at least 5 years of experience in a leadership role, across FP&A, strategic finance, management consulting, and/or investment banking.  Strong preference to those with management consulting, investment banking, or Corporate FP&A at premier high-growth public or private technology leaders.
• Leadership experience at a B2B SaaS, or combined software/hardware company, preferred.
• Functional expertise: You have proven experience leading planning, forecasting, and reporting efforts for a company of scale with significant experience partnering with go-to-market and cross-functional teams.  You have hands-on experience with complex financial modeling and the ability to produce high-caliber visual presentations.
• Functional experience: You have significant experience in operational finance and have installed and matured financial planning processes to support high growth that are scalable to provide accurate financial capability that enables business success. The Powered by Centri Senior Manager position has the primary responsibility of oversight over the Financial Reporting and Technical Accounting engagement work plans. As a leader of the firm, the Powered by Centri Senior Manager will demonstrate excellent project management skills, client service, and positive coaching to the team members in developing technical and professional competency.

Core Responsibilities: 

• High-level and in-depth understanding of accounting concepts and ability to explain and teach to staff.
• Sign off on the audit workbook. Ensure any enhancements to the process and or changes made are effectively communicated.
• Complete understanding of accounting concepts in guiding the clients; working with client team to ensure proper review of the cash management reporting.
• Perform and lead all PBC concepts, including performing in depth variance analysis.
• Work with managers to enhance and streamline the onboarding process.
• Audit/tax prep lead in terms of facilitating process with outside CPA.
• Review and ensure completion of budget/forecast related activities and build templates.
• Review and address any manger questions related to the clints cash flow model.
• Review client tax returns before having client CFO/COO/CEO review to ensure all numbers tie out to QB.
• Perform detailed review of work product completed and assess for accuracy of more complex financial statement areas and identify disclosures which are inaccurate/incomplete.
• Identify more complex scope problems that may arise within the engagement, as well as opportunities for ancillary service offerings. Bring them to the attention of the engagement director and begin expanding engagement opportunities.
• Communicate to the Engagement Leaders and team of progress, responsibilities.
• Lead all client meetings and/or calls independently in accordance with the project plan. With the assistance of the Engagement Managing Director and/or Partner, facilitate calls with the SEC, client auditors, client legal counsel, etc. as deemed necessary to accomplish project goals.
• Responsible for confirming with the Manager or if no Manager with Finance that retainer has been received before engagement work begins.
• Leadership responsibilities include building in person connections with the team, peers, and senior leaders in the Firm.
• Participate in the performance process to provide feedback for team members. Identifying additional training or parts of engagements that are beneficial for team members education. Reaching out to Human Resources when potential issues arise.

This Senior Manager position has the primary responsibility of oversight over the Financial Reporting and Technical Accounting engagement work plans. As a leader of the firm, the Senior Manager will demonstrate excellent project management skills, client service, and positive coaching to the team members in developing technical and professional competency. 

Core Responsibilities: 

• In depth understanding of big picture complex Accounting Advisory topics and how they relate to each other. Ability to oversee progress of entire engagement in the preparation of financial statements and consolidation of trial balances. 
• Perform detailed review of work product completed, ensure all complex technical items have been identified and addressed, assess the accuracy of more complex financial statement areas such as SOCF, Equity, and EPS and identify disclosures which are inaccurate/incomplete. 
• Prepare and review complex technical accounting memos and identify if the appropriate guidance has been used. 
• Oversee and coach Managers to ensure knowledge sharing with the staff and seniors to develop more in-depth knowledge of preparation and review of financial statements and consolidation of trial balances. 
• In depth understanding of complex Accounting Advisory topic and developing subject matter expertise to allow for coaching of Managers.  
• Identify more complex scope problems that may arise within the engagement, as well as opportunities for ancillary service offerings. Bring them to the attention of the engagement director. 
• Lead complex update client meetings and/or calls independently in accordance with the project plan. With the assistance of the Engagement Managing Director and/or Partner, facilitate calls with the SEC, client auditors, client legal counsel, etc. as deemed necessary to accomplish project goals.  
• Responsible for understanding engagement economics, leveraging the team appropriately, monitoring margin, scheduling, invoicing, etc.  
• Leadership responsibilities include building in person connections with the team, peers and senior leaders in the Firm.   
• Participate in the performance process to provide feedback for team members. Identifying additional training or parts of engagements that are beneficial for team members education. Reaching out to Human Resources when potential issues arise.  
• Continue coaching the team to share knowledge in connection with the CPE committee to develop team members for the next level.

The Senior Associate position has the primary responsibility of oversight over the Financial Reporting and Technical Accounting engagement work plans. Serving as a current and future leader of the firm, the Senior Associate demonstrates the attributes of excellent client service and assists team members in developing technical and professional competency. 

Core Responsibilities:  

• Understand complex Accounting Advisory topics, including the corresponding impact to the financial statements and related disclosures. Execute a comprehensive self-review and begin articulating key concepts to staff and begin to review completed work product. 
• Research basic technical topics while identifying relevant guidance and corresponding SEC rules and regulations. 
• Apply guidance to basic technical topic at hand within a technical accounting position paper with detailed oversite and directions from Manager.   
• Apply guidance to basic technical topics and understand corresponding financial statement impact through performing basic level research. 
• Identify technical accounting issues for broader discussion and hold high level conversations with Managers about related accounting considerations. 
• Review and provide comments on all staff work as it relates the preparation of financial statements and consolidation of trial balances. 
• Delegate and provide a detailed review of staff work, ensure technical accuracy of overall financial statements, and identify disclosures which are inaccurate/incomplete. Responsible for understanding more complex areas such as SOCF, Equity, and EPS.
