What We're Looking For

Experience

The Role

As a Senior Software Engineer (GO) - DNS & Network Systems, you will own the architecture and delivery of Securly's DNS-over-HTTPS (DoH) resolver — a production-grade, identity-aware DNS service that enforces filtering policy at the browser and OS level for millions of students on managed Chromebooks.

This is a critical infrastructure role at the intersection of DNS, identity, and network security. You will design and build a high-performance DoH resolver in Go that extracts device and user identity from Chrome enterprise policy URL templates and integrates with Securly's DNS policy engine and Redis infrastructure. You own the full lifecycle: architecture, implementation, TLS configuration, and production deployment on AWS.

This role is the technical foundation of a potential simplification of Securly's SmartPAC identity architecture. Done well, it could collapse significant DNS-RPC signaling complexity (DID/cookie system, IP fusing, brokering state) that has been a source of reliability issues. The scope of that architectural decision will evolve with the POC, and you will be the engineer best positioned to inform it.

What You'll Do

• Architect and build a production-grade DoH resolver in Go, integrated with Securly's DNS policy engine and Unbound infrastructure.
• Implement identity extraction from Chrome's DnsOverHttpsTemplatesWithIdentifiers URL template variables — mapping encrypted DNS queries to device and user identity, and evaluate the degree to which this approach can replace SmartPAC DNS-RPC signaling.
• Build an Unbound plugin with filtering business logic to process DoH queries with identity parameters from the URL template.
• Integrate with Redis infrastructure for policy lookups, identity mapping, state management, and feature flags; document failure modes and define graceful degradation behavior.
• Own TLS termination: certificate provisioning, renewal, and ensuring Chrome correctly validates the DoH endpoint certificate.
• Architect and own the CloudFormation deployment stack: NLB, Auto Scaling Groups, Route53.
• Lead the POC and production hardening phases in collaboration with Securly's Distinguished Engineer; produce a written ADR capturing tradeoffs and the go/no-go recommendation after POC.
• Mentor junior engineers on DNS fundamentals, Go patterns, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
• Document the new architecture and own knowledge transfer as the system transitions.

Purpose of the role:

The Platform Operations Engineer is responsible for maintaining the security, stability, and performance of Pico’s internal infrastructure and client trading platforms. We are looking for experienced Data Engineer to manage in-progress and upcoming data infrastructure projects. The candidate will be responsible for expanding and optimizing our data and data pipeline architecture, as well as optimizing data flow and collection for cross functional teams. • Work directly with Ad Ops, Agency Teams and your internal Client Services team on all elements related to the campaign set up.

THE ROLE - Senior Full Stack Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager who will own our IT infrastructure and lead the DevOps team. This role will be responsible for establishing and maintaining the enterprise vision, strategy, and program to ensure that information assets and technologies are adequately protected.

· Must have experience working with DBT on one or more of the modern databases like Snowflake / Amazon Redshift / BigQuery / Databricks / etc.

· Hands-on experience with Snowflake would carry higher weightage

· Snowflake SnowPro Core certification would carry higher weightage

· Experience working in AWS, Azure, GCP or similar cloud data platform would be an added advantage

· Hands-on experience on Azure would carry higher weightage

· Must have experience in setting up DBT projects

· Must have experience in understanding / creating / modifying & optimizing YML files within DBT

· Must have experience in implementing and managing data models using DBT, ensuring efficient and scalable data transformations

· Must have experience in setting up DBT environments

· Must have experience with writing DBT Jinja and Macros

· Must have experience in creating DBT Snapshots

· Must have experience in creating & managing incremental models using DBT

· Should have a good understanding of DBT Seeds

· Must have experience with DBT Deployment

· Must Experience with architecting data pipelines using DBT, utilizing advanced DBT features

· Proficiency in version control systems and CI/CD

· Must have hands-on experience configuring DBT with one or more version control systems like Azure DevOps / Github / Gitlab / etc.

· Must have experience in PR approval workflow

· Participate in code reviews and best practices for SQL and DBT development

· Experience working with visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, Looker and other similar analytic tools would be an added advantage

· 2+ years of Business Data Analyst experience

· 2+ years of experience writing Business requirements, Use cases and/or user stories, for data warehouse or data mart initiatives.

· Understanding and experience on ETL/ELT is an added advantage

· 2+ years of consulting experience working on project-based delivery using Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

· 2+ years of years of experience with relational databases (Postgres, MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata etc.)

· 2+ years of experience creating functional test cases and supporting user acceptance testing

· 2+ years of experience in Agile/Kanban/DevOps Delivery

· Outstanding analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills

· Ability to manage projects and teams against planned work

· Responsible for managing the day-to-day client relationship on projects

· Manage the Data engineering lifecycle including research, proof of concepts, architecture, design, development, test, deployment, and maintenance

· Collaborate with team members to design and implement technology that aligns with client business objectives

· Build proof of concepts for a modern analytics stack supporting a variety of Cloud-based Business Systems for potential clients

· Team management experience and ability to manage, mentor and develop talent of assigned junior resources

· Create actionable recommendations based on identified platform, structural and/or logic problems

· Communicate and demonstrate a clear understanding of client business needs, goals, and objectives

· Collaborate with other architects on solution designs and recommendations.
