About the role

As a Chase Vehicle Operator, you will safely operate a passenger vehicle during the testing and deployment of Gatik’s autonomous trucks. You will support the safe and effective operation of autonomous test vehicles by maintaining a protective buffer, monitoring surrounding traffic, and supporting the autonomous vehicle (AV) team during testing and live operations. 

We are looking for a highly motivated self-starter.  You’ll be a valuable contributor by collecting necessary data for our engineering teams aimed at improving our groundbreaking automated driving technology while meeting customers’ product delivery needs.

This role is onsite in Springdale, AR. 

What you'll do

• Manually drive a chase passenger vehicle that is following a Gatik autonomous truck.
• Maintain a safe following distance and protective buffer behind the AV.
• Monitor traffic conditions, road hazards, and AV status; communicate updates.
• Support disengagements, system issues, and emergency response procedures.
• Log and report observations, incidents, or environmental hazards.
• Coordinate with the team to ensure smooth testing operations.
• Comply with traffic laws and all AV testing and safety protocols.
• Learn and adhere to company standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensure compliance with safe operations standards

How you’ll demonstrate Ownership

We are seeking an AI Platform Engineer to join the Cognite Atlas AI Product team in Phoenix, AZ, to engineer, build, and operate the production-grade, multi-cloud platform that enables our internal and partner teams to build, deploy, and manage industrial AI agents. You will be responsible for creating the core services, frameworks, and infrastructure for our "agent builder workbench" and agent runtime, focusing on scalability, reliability, cost-efficiency, and security. Your work will directly impact industrial efficiency and sustainability, which is critical to our mission of powering a high-tech, sustainable, and profitable industrial future.

The Impact you bring to Cognite

• Design, build, and maintain the core Python SDKs and services for the Atlas AI platform. Create clean abstractions that empower Solution Engineers to easily define and test agents and workflows.
• Build the core agentic runtime, ensuring it is scalable, meets its SLOs, and can reliably manage the state, orchestration, and execution of industrial agents.
• Develop a robust, governed, and secure framework for AI agent tool-use. Engineer the platform components that allow solution engineers to safely add new tools (e.g., API calls, database queries) and that manage the secure execution, monitoring, and access control for those tools.
• Manage the LLM serving layer, including deploying and optimizing models for low-latency/high-throughput inference. Build and maintain model routing logic to select the most appropriate model (e.g., performance vs. cost) for a given task.
• Implement evaluation and observability for all AI services. Create standardized frameworks for systematically evaluating the performance, accuracy, cost, and safety of LLMs and agentic workflows. Drive the implementation of robust, automated testing strategies for LLM-based systems.
• Own the full development lifecycle for services in a production SaaS environment. This includes establishing automated code coverage goals, rigorous code reviews, defining SLOs, participating in on-call rotations, and ensuring a fast and effective incident response process.
• Work closely with the Lead Architect to translate the technical vision into implemented, production-grade services. Act as a key partner for the Solution Engineers (your internal customers) to understand their needs and abstract common patterns into reusable, robust platform components.
• Stay up to date on the latest developments in the field, and mentor junior developers.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of professional experience in backend software engineering, platform engineering, or MLOps, with a proven track record of architecting and operating complex systems at scale.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience building applications or platforms on top of AI/ML models or LLMs.
• Expert-level proficiency in Python and a strong background in software architecture, robust API design, and building maintainable, well-documented SDKs for other developers.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (K8s) and building services on managed PaaS in a multi-cloud environment (AWS, Azure, GCP). Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform).
• Proven experience building and operating production-grade SaaS software. Understanding of the full development life cycle, including CI/CD, monitoring, telemetry, and on-call incident response.
• Practical experience with LLM orchestration frameworks (Bedrock, Vertex, Semantic Kernel, LangChain).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical designs and decisions clearly.

Preferred Experience

• Hands-on experience deploying and managing LLMs in production using high-performance serving frameworks.
• Experience with MLOps/LLMOps tools for tracing, monitoring, and evaluating LLM applications (LangSmith, Arize, Phoenix, or equivalent).
• Experience with RAG Infrastructure, embedding generation pipelines, vector database integrations, and high-performance vector similarity search APIs.

Gusto is looking for a Paid Social Marketing Lead to own our paid social program end-to-end, from brand awareness through conversion, across social channels such as Meta, LinkedIn, Reddit, and TikTok. This is a high-visibility, high-impact role at the intersection of performance marketing, creative strategy, and AI-powered workflow design. You will serve as the strategic lead for paid acquisition across paid social and adjacent channels, setting the framework for how paid media operates within Gusto's demand generation engine. As a member of Gusto’s Demand Generation team, you will be embedded specifically within Paid Acquisition, a focused group responsible for driving awareness and pipeline through paid media. Compensation

Our cash compensation amount for this role is $151,020/yr to $180,000/yr in Denver, Phoenix/Scottsdale, Las Vegas, Chicago, and Atlanta, and $177,550/yr to $210,000/yr for San Francisco & New York. The cash compensation range for Toronto is (CAD) $134,285 - $158,000. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate location, experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.

This role supports the integration of hardware devices with SmartRent platform services, enabling reliable communication between field devices and cloud-based systems.

This role contributes to firmware development using the Nerves framework and Elixir-based systems and collaborates with hardware, platform, and application teams to implement new functionality, support device reliability, and maintain existing device software.

Responsibilities

• Lead medium- to large-scale development efforts across the embedded stack, from firmware through device interfaces, operating with a high degree of autonomy while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Design, develop, and maintain firmware for SmartRent IoT devices using Elixir and the Nerves framework.
• Lead the bring-up of new hardware platforms, including driver development, peripheral integration, and system validation.
• Develop and maintain device-local user interfaces running on embedded hardware using technologies such as Phoenix, Flutter, and gRPC.
• Integrate third-party systems, including HVAC, access control, and Z-Wave platforms, by interpreting vendor documentation and supporting required communication protocols.
• Develop and maintain automated tests and supporting documentation to ensure system reliability and prevent regressions across deployed devices.
• Develop project timelines, manage deliverables against defined milestones, and communicate risks, dependencies, and requirement changes proactively.
• Support team development through code reviews, technical guidance, knowledge sharing, and mentorship of less experienced engineers.
• Contribute to internal tooling, shared engineering resources, and open-source initiatives aligned with SmartRent’s technical ecosystem.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of hands-on software development experience.
• Proficiency in Elixir or Erlang/OTP, with working knowledge of the BEAM runtime, or demonstrated ability to learn and apply functional programming concepts.
• Experience with, or demonstrated interest in, embedded Linux systems development.
• Working knowledge of Linux internals, including device trees, kernel configuration, system boot processes, and shell tooling.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver projects from design through deployment with minimal supervision.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
• Demonstrated ability to learn and apply new tools, languages, and technologies as required.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with the Nerves framework or embedded Elixir development.
• Experience with Phoenix, LiveView, or other Elixir-based web frameworks.
• Working knowledge of C/C++ for hardware-adjacent development or driver support.
• Familiarity with IoT communication protocols, such as MQTT, Z-Wave, or BLE.
• Exposure to HVAC or building automation systems.
• Experience integrating access control systems or similar hardware-based platforms.
• Ability to read and interpret hardware datasheets and schematics at a foundational level.
• Experience contributing to open-source projects or shared technical libraries.

Gatik is seeking a Fleet Operations Manager to lead transportation and logistics operations across our Phoenix region. In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing daily fleet activity, ensuring safety and compliance, and delivering exceptional service to our customers. You’ll partner closely with cross-functional teams to support customer deployments, test new autonomous vehicle routes, and scale operations. What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in transportation or logistics, with 5+ years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of DOT, FMCSA, HOS, ELDs, and fleet compliance standards.
• Proven success managing transportation teams and scaling fleet operations.
• Experience in fast-paced, high-growth environments (logistics, transportation, or automotive preferred).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
